i love lane splitting but sometimes its just not practical. i do it depending on the weather and the individuals around me :P X x

I live in Texas & lanesplitting is a NO-NO. Plus I would be scared to do it because I don't want anyone hitting my R6. I rather stay in my own lane but then again, I've never tried so who's to know.

I always try put myself in there mirrors so they can see me and so im not riding in blind spots.

Yeah i try to do the same, but hey mirrors are for makeup only here, that's why you have to so many on a car, to get uhm all angles covered of your face that is

I always filter when it is safe to do so, sometimes when it is not safe by accident but I would much rather crash at low speed into a car than get rear ended by one and break my back. As for lane splitting at speed I only ever do that to get away from idiot cagers so again a safety thing and a very quick risk assessment.

I think filtering and lane splitting has it's pro and con's in every country. I do think that i might have difficulties in the one or another country, just simple because the awareness regarding bikes is different.

Just got to do some in Sydney NSW this weekend as it isn't legal where I live. Damn is it great !

I do filter. I think that its one of the perks of riding a bike! I quite enjoy it, although the town I live in isn't that big so I don't get to filter for very long.

I live in Florida, and it's illegal, so I won't even bother trying. But honestly the parts of Florida I live in I don't even have to, there is hardly ever people in my way.

Although it's illegal in Germany, I do filter. For me it's just a question of safety and I don't mind if it's illegal.

I live in Devon UK and lane splitting is legal so after a few months of getting used to the bike I have started to do this. I find most drivers are courteous and move over, famous last words, however having a camera on your head helps with traffic. Everyone seems to behave if they see that

Being in the South Eastern US, it's not only illegal but cagers flip shit. The last time I did it I had a guy in a pick up truck wait until I was right up on him and he slammed his door open on me and started cussing me out. Another time I had a car purposefully start pulling into the other lane to stop me and then they flipped me off.

They don't get lane splitting at all out here, and even when I try to explain it to people they resort to it's just me being an asshole.

the only time I'll lane split is when I'm in a rush or in traffic occasionally. Mostly due to the fact that is Florida it is illegal and will get you pulled over quickly. Cops around here treat it as they would stunting it would seem.
