What Is The Coldest Weather You Have Ridden In?

I don't understand (without googling) fFahrenheit, you may as well be telling the temperature is violet today :p
Here you go - this explains the U.S. (formerly British) system, and this is all you need in order to figure it out :p :.....

...makes sense, right ;) ?... except it looks like this chart is all only in length units :( .....

Brilliant isn't it?! Never heard of a shaftment before!

Must try to find the Vsauce1/2/3 vid on imperial units.

...riding my motorcycle, my wife calls and I stop to answer. "Yeah, no problem dear, I'm only 1,000 shaftments from home :p ....."

You just reminded me, the Swiss use L/100km for their measure of fuel economy! That's a proper mind **** when I'm trying to compare it to the UK mpg!

When I did my CBT quite a few years ago it was -5c with no proper bike gear... Damn that was cold. I have ridden in -9c as well but that was in full winter gear with heated grips and hand guards so felt a lot warmer :D

When I did the MSF course, the mornings started out at freezing but warmed up nicely thereafter. Luckily I already had the gear, so it kept me warm  . Some fellow MSF students thought I was silly wearing all of that gear, but I had read before and what I would recommend to anyone... wear all of the gear that you'll be wearing once you have your M endorsement while taking the MSF course so that you're used to it right form the start. Hardly any gear while learning then full gear on your own can possibly be awkward and for a beginner, it can be potentially dangerous.

Some units are mentioned in the Bible (weights IIRC), but you don't know if it was a measurement used then or a conversion at the time of translation in to English.

Spring break... bring it on :D ! We're pretty lucky here right now... we've hit a warm spell - it's currently 53°F (11.6°C) and perfect rinding weather :D . Unfortunately, there's so much salt on the road that I'm afraid to take my JoAnna out :( . I'm so pent up on not riding a bike, it's not even funny >< !!!

...so in review, fahrenheit is like a rod, a piston and a furlong all wrapped into one :p ~

Coldest I've riden was -10 C.
Not cold when stationary, but when moving in open face helmet it feels like thousands of needles are piercing your face (((
