What Is The Coldest Weather You Have Ridden In?

I rode my back in about 8-10 Celcius one night in the fall, and at 90-100 km/h you really feel it. Then again, I did only have my summer gear on...

I've ridden in below 0 Celsius weather, providing the roads were clear. Winter here is around the 0 to 5 degrees mark.
Actually went riding with my partner on New Years Eve and made a vid about it.

Winter gear and heated grips are a must! :-)

Not my photo.

Coldest I've ever ridden is the current weather (7 degrees C). It rained for 3 days straight on an island that is almost always sunny. Roads , walls , mountains collapsed , cars got stuck. All the good stuff.

2015 was not happy to see us.

coldest for me was 12 degrees November 23rd last year I had an hour long ride and needed to be there at 7 am so I left at 5:30 it was 12F(-11C) with no sun and a wicked wind. it sucked. I didn't have the right gear (mesh summer jacket with a wool suit on underneath, and some "waterproof" over pants) I won't do that again till I have some full heated gear. I will ride till around 25F (-4C) as long as the it is dry, the wind is calm, and I can layer properly.

This winter has been the coldest for me so far. This is only my second winter riding, and the coldest it's been has been in the low teens. Wind chill is a bitch, though. 20F at 70MPH feels like 0F. it was pretty fun, though. You get a lot of strange looks, and "you're crazy!" comments.

I ride almost year round if it's not terrible. one time i rode at 45 f at night without insulated pants or chaps. that sucked.

0. I rake the car its going to be unbearable.
Another reason I miss the west coast, it mar rain, but 30 is beyond freezing there. Here it has been in the low teens and into the negatives for the last 2 weeks.

I generally ride in weather up till 0C daytime highs, so I will see -2C once and a while. Cold weather riding is not so bad, I actually enjoy it a little. The only part of me that I find cold are my hands.

I don't ride during the winters here because they salt the roads pretty often and I don't want to dump the bike in a corner because of it.

I don't understand (without googling) fFahrenheit, you may as well be telling the temperature is violet today :p
32F is 0C, and -40 is where the scales meet. Formula for C to F is (1.8*C)+32, certainly for positive temperatures. Or an easier near enough way, double the centigrade, add 32 and round down a bit. So 10C is 50F.

Yeah I got it after googling too, but it managed to confuse me, especially when people don't mention the scale they're using :p

Lowest I've gone is right at 32F and that's with summer gloves, hoody under my summer riding jacket, jeans, and some riding boots. Needless to say by the time I got home my hands were killing me.

You think I Googled it @SwissMotard ?!! You disappoint me! I knew it, I'm older than I look. I can work in imperial and metric, and surprised the hell out of someone by adding up some pounds shilling and pence recently :)

2.54! And yards to metres is multiply by 1.094 :)

Got to be careful going from gallons as to whether they're US or imperial gallons :) not sure if US pints are different or not. That I need to Google.
