Something Has Changed On Motovlog

Dan aims for perfection and high-siding on the track is not perfection ;) ~.....

Out of curiosity, why not?

Tracks and roads are completely different. I don't need advice or comments by someone who has never been on a track or gone over (legally) 70mph.

My old channel used to get 40k views on some videos and all I got was keyboard instructors giving me 'advice' or slagging me off for no reason, I don't need to put myself in a situation to be judged by people with no experience.

I've shown my crash in a few track groups (Facebook mainly) and got some solid advice, some people say, fook you went for it, some far better riders gave tips, some even said they would have come off three corners before blah blah

But a YouTube video of the same crash for 'road people' to see and it's like 'You cunt, you can't ride, get a car' blah blah blah - None with enough balls to actually get on a track

Quite a long winded reply but that's why ;)

When I start racing properly then I'll most likely do videos on a track, maybe. I don't really have anything to show or anything to prove to anyone but myself.

An interesting read, thanks for taking the time to respond :)

But...

Still only got 14 players. I would like feedback from motovlog members please.

What put you off?

What sounded boring or too much like hard work?

Was there something generic about it that didn't float your boat or a specific element?

Which of the challenges were naff?

Or any other comments?

I think motovlog is a great medium for running friendly competitions, but they need to be what we want and I think crucially, they need to be what subscribers would want to see. I don't pretend that what I knocked up for this year's SBC was exactly what was needed, and I have my own views on what seems to have worked well or not, but I think we could do better with your input.

For me, its too much hard work, lack of inpirationt o do it then lack of motivation in the bad weather to do it.

And dan it shows you where going hard enough to even be able to high side it, i cant remember if i asked but what group where you in?

Dan, do you think the bike you have limits your track day experience? I'd love to take the Street Triple to a track day to begin learning how to really ride a bike, but I just want to make sure I don't need a sports bike to go and get the most out of it.

I have a Suzuki Srad for the track and only the track, I go faster on that than I do on my road Fireblade which should kick the srads arse.... However, I would take my road bikes on the track again, just don't see the point as you do hold back
