Something Has Changed On Motovlog

I'm only teasing, hence the ":p" that you missed out when quoting :)

I've said a number of times that I appreciate what you have done for us (and yourself) here. :)

It's not spam, it's self promotion for the forum that's free for you to use. It's helping @O8ride with his Solar Bear Challenge

But...

Still only got 14 players. I would like feedback from motovlog members please.

What put you off?

What sounded boring or too much like hard work?

Was there something generic about it that didn't float your boat or a specific element?

Which of the challenges were naff?

Or any other comments?

I think motovlog is a great medium for running friendly competitions, but they need to be what we want and I think crucially, they need to be what subscribers would want to see. I don't pretend that what I knocked up for this year's SBC was exactly what was needed, and I have my own views on what seems to have worked well or not, but I think we could do better with your input.

Same here ~_~ . Although it warms up time-to-time (and zero snow), we need a real good rain to wash all the salt off the roads. JoAnna + salt = an eventually ruined bike :( (at her age)... and if I were able to do it, with as much time as the local police have on their hands around here, I'd be the first to be found and frisked :p . I'm really surprised I haven't been yet @o@ !

...but I'd still would have done it if I could ;) . Sorry, man >< !

Life puts me off entering long term challenges/comps. I'll do something for a 1 off challenge/comp if I see it, but I couldnt commit to the solar bear.

@O8ride I believe 14 is more than last season. While one or two dropped out this time, we've got a few more first timers. I'm sure the publicity of a 'big' motovlogger entering the SBC would do wonders for the numbers, even if they only had time to do a couple of the challenges.

Looking back, I think one or two of the challenges themselves were contextually pretty boring and won't have provided a feeling to the competitors of wanting to get out there and do them. But some people were getting very good ratings from their regular subscribers, so feedback from anyone would be good

I had a broken camera, the bad weather and now a broken bike against me or I'd have had a go. I was looking forwards to doing the Anchor one, had a cracking idea set up for it! What I might do when it's over is go through the challenges and offer my thoughts on what I'd have found achievable, difficult to do or reluctant to do and why, if that would be of benefit.

I think these challenges are great, and I've got half an idea for one once spring has sprung, thus being out there for more bikers being on the roads and hopefully a good uptake, well, certainly won't exclude those who don't/can't/won't ride in winter.

I didn't do any, I wanted to but I ran out of time. Plus I lent me camera to someone and they took a month to give it back.

Moving offices, taking on staff and crashing a bike got in the way

See that's where you went wrong, too much at once, spread it out, it'll brighten up the dull days later join the year ;)
