hey guys. Been riding for about 5+ years now. I want to be able to video my adventures. I have no idea where to start. I have a 2015 Harley Street 750, no aftermarket yet. Looking to put a forward facing and rider facing camera, also a mic (just a phone holder right now on the handlebars). What camera and mic setup do you guys suggest? Any other information you think might be helpful as well please.

Welcome.

Sorry but you have already failed as a motovlogger because you have shown your face. How are you going to do a dramatic face reveal now.

As for camera advice. There are 2 basic options. GoPro or drift.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both. It would really depend on what your budget is. There are also extra challenges if your using a open face helmet.

Sena 10c is awesome. I love mine

Also Lupin is right about the face reveal.

My old channel got to 4K subs ish then I showed my face and it all stopped, only reveal after 100k

Dont show dans face...

Im using a garmin virb, Most other guys seem to be with Gopro's

Honestly. its what your budget can allow. Play around with different setups and find what works for you. I know of people using Gopro5's that have shit videos... while others have hero2's with great content

Dan maybe they just didn't like your face.... Haha kidding. Nah I can understand the mystery and draw of not seeing the face.

My first vlog was recorded on a mobius. Some of my old track vlogs were done with pivotheads

ahh got ya, I meant it wouldn't show the track as I tend to have to look upwards to see on a sportsbike, would be ok on an upright bike though! :-)

I think you are missing the point, the glasses point at 90' from my face so would be looking at my clocks, my eyes would be looking at the track ahead of me but the camera would be pointing in the same direction as the glasses unless you can swivel the camera upwards?
