Serious Can't Post A Video? - Read And Then You Can Post

Maybe so but it's something we can keep changing if need be. The top posters caused loads of post whoring when I first put that live but it's settled down a fair amount.

The post whores moved on, forums tend to go through member changes every few months. I can deal with that.

I don't care if someone comes on, says hello to 5 new members a week and posts a video, that's more than they've done for the site than coming on to slap up a video.

I'm always happy to hear fresh ideas

Within 24-48 hours I can see that less videos have been posted,but far more interaction with the videos that are there! (Also the rest of the forum)

That's the goal

Before it was just a never ending list of videos, so many that people were not actually watching them or giving feedback etc

It might make things to complex, drive more people away by making it confusing. So maybe if you could say, 5 posts per week OR 1 feedback to a fellow members video a week.

Just a thought Dan, I tend to read the regular forum by cherry picking what I like the sound of and/or have time to read at that given point in time. However, (especially from mobile) hitting "mark forums as read" wipes out the unread markers on here as well. As this is separate from the Unread Posts count, could this be separate from the mark it all as read option? I also notice there is no option to mark the video section as read at the top of the page (unless I'm being blind). Basically I tend to watch videos on the laptop rather than my mobile as the YT app is a PITA.
