I think the issue for riders sometimes is that they only have 1 or 2 spots to mount the camera. I once strapped my GoPro to my wrist

Wrist mount would be interesting. Did you have it towards you or aiming out? If aimed at you, you could have talked to it like Dick Tracy into his watch. That would give audience a spy type perspective.

I think everyone should film themselves and then review the footage to see how observant they are. Watch some vlogs and count the mirror checks.

cameras don't pick up eye movement so filming yourself to see if you use your mirrors would not be a fair assessment
