I'm looking for a slip on for my 05 zx6r and the tail tidy to go with it.

I've looked online and haven't really found much, a bit but for my year not really.

I would like to walk into a shop in Melbourne and see the products and talk to a real person about the fitment and such if possible, but if I found the right one online I could do that.

From what I've found I need the slip on, the tail tidy (and attach the old indicators as I like them)and a servo buddy to eliminate the error message that removing the stock exhaust would create.
Does that sound right?

Any suggestions from others in Australia about shopping here in Melbourne/online or otherwise?

Here are some links to things I've found online so far :

That's funny you think you can walk into a shop in Melbourne and get what you want. :D

You basically have 3 options. Pay what Peter Stevens want. See what amx have which won't be much. Or get friendly with a smaller shop and get them to help.

Or just do what most people do and buy it all online.

I thought this. Haha. Just hoped for a better outcome I guess.

Doing well if you can walk into somewhere and find what you want. Most dealers and shops have mostly cobwebs on shelves and you get told by staff to check online as they wont even bother to get something in as to make a buck they have to charge excessive. Revzilla or Amazon I have found to have best range. A lot of manufacturers advertise their stuff directly on Amazon.

Thanks mate, I have found heaps on revzilla, but they don't post exhausts to Australia. The other parts I can get but have found online in Aus anyway. The exhaust I might just have to get off of eBay like in the link I shared in original post. I'll look at Amazon, they might have something better and maybe post to Australia.

Yeah it's a pain, we've got Team Moto in SE Queensland they're a big dealer so they can usually source parts I'm after & not too bad price wise, I bought my exhaust from here http://www.xtremperformance.com/ not a huge range but I've found them cheap and reasonable delivery, other than that Revzilla and what Lupin linked might be worth it.

Thanks for that site, it doesn't have my year bike exhausts but has other stuff I'm interested in in the future. (Dam under seat exhausts:cool:)

Just an update on the outcome of my exhaust shopping experience. I went for the Scorpion slip on exhaust from eBay. It came from a shop in Florida and was shipped pretty cheap to Australia. All is good, the install was easy and it sounds great.
