Who Is Running More Than 1 Camera?

I just got done editing my first video with the Sena 20S + bacpac kit. Sound quality has definitely improved. I can mute the video channel on the GoPro and crossfade audio tracks as necessary. Should work really well. Helps that my rear-facing GoPro is plugged into the bike's GPS connection via USB...

I use 3 cameras. 2 on helmet for front (Garmin virb elite) and back (gopro hero entrylevel) and 1 at the instrumentcluster (Denver 8030w) pointing at me.
Main camera is of course the front on helmet to see the road and a little bit of instrument and hands.
Sometimes when explaining somethingsit is good to see me pointing, gesticulate or anything like that.
Rearview is mostly for looking at cars passing by, or anything else. Therefor I have the rear caera on helmet so I can point it where I want to.
Sound is recorded with a lapel-mic to my phone.
It is not hard to sync audio with 3 videotrack as they are started almost at the same time. I smack my helmet. Then I have the soundpeak in all 4 devices. I match the sound first and cut the beginning. Then when it is syncronized I delete the audiotrack from the videofile and only use the audiotrack from the lapel-mic. The volume outside of voicefrequence is lowered to reduce noise from wind, bike etc.
Here is my first try to start a motovlog. It is in swedish and I just talk crap and yada yada for myself just to try.
Search for rambris kameror on youtube to see the video.

If you start from scratch on a low budget, buy 2 or 3 cheap cameras with good quality. Gopro is nice but overpriced. Ebay SJ4000 clone with 2" screen without wifi is nice for the price. Do not by a Denver camera. It is a nice camera but it is limited to 29 min of recording. The sound from all cameras is crap. Record it with your smartphone or buy a digital voicerecorder. Do not buy these cheap ebay-recorders as they are impossible to sync. Go for zoom or a tascam but it is 100-150 USD
Or you can buy a better camera with external mic (gopro 2,3,4, sony etc)

Then you are good to go.

Thinking of getting another soon, but seeing me ride would be cringeworthy, ha!

I use Drift on helmet
GoPro down on swingarm facing backward
Contour on crash bars lower arm facing backward
Sony Action Cam on crash bar upper arm facing forward.
I think you need more bro, that's not enough you need to go deeper

I like the idea of running multiple cameras. I would want to run one on my helmet, one one the bars facing me, and one on my rear swing-arm, facing the end of the pipes (sometimes they shoot flames ). Unfortunately money doesn't grow on trees so I'll just stick to one for now. Another problem is I have yet to find an app or voice recorder that would do what I want. Most apps I have come across are really choppy, and most recorders make it a pain the ass to transfer files to the computer.

The zoom series of recorders work really well.

Why can't you mic up your camera though?

I run a GoPro on my Chin and a Drift on the side of my helmet ... I do this so that if the GoPro dies .. I can just turn on the Drift and not miss a thing :) The GoPro batteries do not last very long in addition to the memory cards fill up pretty quick because of the high resolution I record at ... The Drift isn't my favorite but it's at least a recording should an even happen.

Just getting the feel for using 2 gopros, gotta work out some decent scene switching and editing techniques though... i do like the front facing angle...but then i am just vain:p
