Who Is Running More Than 1 Camera?

From time to time I run a second camera. But not every video. It is a lot of work to sync the audio/video.
True, found that out yesterday. Editing 2 shoots for the first time and it's at least twice the work...

I'm actually kind of relieved to have gone form 3 cameras back down to 2!

I don't know if it's because I'm using an old version of Premiere (CS5) but working multicam shoots is pretty arduous! You can't see what the 'other' cams are doing when you're on one view so you have to either imagine it, or watch all of your footage 3 times!

If only I had the time!!

I resize all the cameras to fit on one screen (1/4 screen each), then do my cuts, and finally delete the overlapping footage I don't want, and resize everything back to 1080p.

That is how I do it with 2 cams...have them both in screen...sync up all footage...then make single tracks of them so I can cut as I pleazeeee ^^

A good friend of mine who bought my old drift is running 3 Cameras... he has one on his helmet, one on the screen and one facing his front tyre and he mixes the angles you watch whilst still listening to the vlog. really good effect but he puts alot of time and effort into the editing. DoubleDeeVlogs if anyone wants to see.

I use a drift hd and a drift 720. Move them about the bike/helmet to various permenant ram ball mounts to get different shots. Seems to work well. :)

I would love to have two gopros. A little expensive right now. Ill just stick to making multiple runs and moving the camera in between. lol

i was using two for a while. after i got my Prism i was still using the gopro1, but as a second camera, until i had to give it back to the friend i was borrowing it from lol really hoping to get another one soon. i think people like the two point perspective

I'm going to experiment with two now that I have a decent helmet cam.

Just don't want to end up with mounts all over the bike, so will need to work something out with all that stuff. I have ordered a bar mount for my gopro so with a bit of luck I can find somewhere down the back of the bike to use it as well.

I'm off out to the best mountain pass I've ever been on with 3 cameras and a Zoom H2N. The edit is going to be painful!

aye just getting used to editing with multi cameras! i found that doing on solid clap in front of all camera's works well

I bip my horn, you can get away with doing that by accident rather than looking like a div clapping at your bike ;)
