Wales- Snowdonia Meet - 17th to 19th August 2012

Yeah It will be reasonably late though, Might not get there till about 6:30 pm if thats all right? Yeah, Macdonalds on the food court sound alright? I hear their milkshakes are the best in all of Guildford :P (except shake aways). Yeah sort the headsets out, bit of grub, get the details and head home, Probs get about an hours sleep then meet, go to snowdon and get killed on camera (with nightvision) by some creepy mountain monster thing. Then get replayed on itv3 for years and years and become world renowned for "those people that talk to themselves on their motorbikes that got killed by the shnupalasawping of snowdonia. Sweet its a plan, we have to steer clear of some parts, i lied to my work and they think i am going to France on Thursday :P but all sounds good to me, same about the hours sleep lol, Fuck im going to be having nightmares now :/ :( :lol:

Ok mate, No worries, We will go somewhere else lol Nice cover though hahah, and I forgot to mention the headsets have the push to talk (PTT) and not voice activated speech (VOX) so we do need to use the buttons however i'm told this is better as there isn't as many false signals of just wind noise. Yeah so guildford station at 6:30 on thursday yeah? Have don't have nightmares, just live the story. Found this after typing in shite like, real blair witch project and stuff. Sounds like a plan :D I have seen that before, thats where i got the idea from :P Shall we fit the buttons ready on Thursday night? And then you take the walkie to charge it? then all we need to do is plug in? See you there mate ;)
 
I think we'll all have to fill up at the Esso Garage south of Ffestiniog first thing on saturday! I have reason to be worried about fuel, my tanks range is only 100 miles before I hit reserve! :P


One thing I was going to ask is can anyone who has satnavs try and upload the route please, At least one of us needs to know where we are going haha :)

Won't be able to make it to the meet-up :( Went to go and put the restrictor on my new bike at the dealer near me and they put me on a 2 week waiting list for a job that doesn't even take that long!!

Especially sucks because I live in North Wales and could have made it easily to the meet :(

Maybe next time!

Right as its the week of the meet, who is deffo meeting us Southern riders and where? Just so we can this planned for defiantly!

Meeting you in Worchester, at that roundabout, around 9.30-10, in that bit by the farm entrance, since the roundabout looks quite busy to just be stopped on the side of the road
 
Im looking foreward to this, still not a clue what to get for food though :O though if we're stopping for fuel we can find food on the way :)

Oh and it turns out Zara isn't coming, she said so above.


and we're meeting a few people on the route :)

For food, I am guna buy something at the petrol station or a nearby shop if I can on the way to the camp site, or if me and LDB's group stop for petrol/lunch, then i'll get something there...

For saturday, ocne we get back from the ride, I'll go to a shop or petrol station and get stuff there for sat night, including booze me thinks lol

Agreed! I think tinned sausage and beans + choco or something will be the extent of my diet this weekend lol
