Thanks for all the support guys, was a real shock, it isnt nice hitting an Audi body first at 40mph (Dont try this at home )

Thankfully me and Footle are okay, the owner of the Audi wouldnt stop hugging and kissing me on the cheek saying thank god your alive, towards the end she also pointed out she doesnt want to claim on my insurance because she knew it wasnt our fault.

Was a big scare, when i saw Steve go i thought i was going to hit him, swerved out the way of him thus hitting the Audi (YZF Bro's 4 life :D) Thankyou to Mike and Sstimmyy for the help and understanding, i will be back on soon as well as Footle hopefully, see you soon ;)

RIDE SAFE

Wow that sucks guys, sounds like I may have dodged a bullet by staying in Swindon, sorry for ditching out last minute, Swindon was literally as far as I could get in the weather this morning, anyone who did make it, enjoy the weekend, maybe we should have better weather next time lol, been sat in a holiday inn all day, watching tv Bought loads of crap food from tesco, sat in the hotel bar etc lol

I'd like to say the Wales meet went without any issues, but unfortunately this was not the case. Gwyant campsite was wet, very wet. By the time we all arrived the ground was heavily saturated and hardly suitable for pitching - everyone's gear got soaked! We also unfortunately lost two riders before the meet began, Footle83 and LittleDevilBiker had an accident en-route and so were unable to join us. I'm sure we all wish them a quick recovery and hope they both get back on two wheels as soon as possible. We also had an unexpected attendee, Neilsin spotted Footle83, LDB, Mikesmotorbike and Ssttimmyy on the roadside and decided to join us on our little adventure. Great to have him come along - you can see his blog posts about the Wales meet here: http://neils.in/

After the first night of camping at the foot of Mt. Snowdon we decided enough was enough, packed up and headed East where the weather was much warmer. Whilst heading East we stopped off at a petrol station near the Welsh border for lunch, along with a quick excursion by Rickster303 and Ssttimmyy to get me a spare battery for my alarm/immobiliser keyfob which had decided to go kaput. During which time we all had a quick ride on each other's bikes (on private land...of course), I fell in love with Neil's Suzuki DRZ400 SM and Sstimmyy's Honda Hornet, as well as realising just how much run riding a 125 is again! After all this excitement the sun was starting to set, so we all left in search of a campsite. Several hours later we found our way to some site in Shrewsbury, good weather and no rain made for a pleasant evening, even if our gear was totally drenched by the previous night. On Sunday morning we went our seperate ways, after picking up two bikes which lowsided on wet grass - I won't mention any names! ;)

So overall it was an excellent meet, great people, great riding and great scenery when we could see it through the fog!

I was riding behind Footle + LDBs when they went down and I really thought they were done for, Jay who went under an Audi and Steve who narrowly avoided being hit by a car on the opposing lane thanks to the drivers quick reactions. I'm really glad you guys are alright and were able to get home alright too, gutted for you both but at least you will both be 100% okay :) I hope sombody comes forward with that bastard lorry drivers licence plate number in case it is needed to help you claim. Neither me or Mike minded waiting while everything was sorted out, like I said, we were just happy to help and see you both breathing and walking around! Will deffinitally need to organise something when you are both on two wheels again :)

As for the meet, it turned out really well in the end and I had a fantastic time :) The only down side was the weather on friday night which flooded half of our tents and flushed us out of Wales to the East where we held high hopes of a heatwave based purely on rumours which thankfully turned out to be true! Second day/night was really good and ended up trying each others bikes in a lorrypark before hunting for a campsite and food! Thanks Rick for letting me bunk in and sorry about the snoring :P Also enjoyed the journey home today in which myself and Mike detoured back into Wales and across the Severn into Bristol from where we blasted 60miles along the M4 (my first motorway experience!) back to Reading where we said our goodbyes.

Had a really great weekend with a great bunch of guys, I've got the meet bug now and look forward to the next, Big thanks to Leedsrider for organising this! I dont vlog myself at the moment but I'm sure the guys have got a good bunch of footage together for you all to enjoy ;)

Ahh shit I wish I'd known you were coming to Shrewsbury! That's where I live... Like I said in a previous post, i couldn't have made the ride out, but I would have been able to pop my head round for a few hours and met you that evening. Shame I didn't know. Hopefully next time :)
