Both inexpensive and work well with goggles.

i run a 2015 Scorpion EXO410 i think is the model number. in XL, and i wish i got a L because on the 700 miles ive got its now loose and falls forward. it was tight when i got it, and still is when i go to take it off. my gauges really pull when i take it off. i just didnt know how loose it would get once broken in.

Shark S700s, not bad but having the same issue as 87SWOO with it becoming slightly loose. Also whistles above 40mph. Looking for a new lid with a better surface to mount my GoPro on the chin

I just recently had to retire both my full face and half helmets since they were old enough to start kindergarten.

I got a Harley JV02 "Ultralight" half helmet. It is made by KBC. Overpriced but really nice.

Then I got a Shark Evo One. Grew tired of waiting for the US release so I ordered it from the E.U. Reasonably priced but build quality could be better. Not even one month in and I had to glue some of the trim back in place. I will be doing a full review soon though.

I use a Nolan N44 and an X-lite 802R Carbon.

The N44 is noisy as hell, but I love the wide visor and how much air flows in.

The 802R is quiet and the padding is comfortable, but the visor is too small so my head keeps on moving just to know how fast I am going.

Shoei RF-1200 like many others. The reviews said it was quiet in comparison to many other helmets. I like the sturdy vents and high build quality compared to some of the junk I owned in the past.

Also... TWENTIETH POST!

Just got a new lid! Bell RS1, gloss black with a nice dark smoke visor, looks mean as fook. Little louder than my old Shark S700s but the rest of the spec more than makes up for it. Great safety, lightweight, stable thanks to the spoiler, and excellent ventilation. Fits my stupid shape head nicely too.

Practically stole it, was on sale at over 50% off. £290 new, I picked it up for £140, bloody bargain!!

I guess I took a wrong decision in choosing my new lid. I got a Modular Sol SM1. I got the flip one since it helps me wear specs easily until I attached my Cam, Intercom and external mic.

Now, the problem is that I cannot use the flip-up function as the chin guard gets in way of my external mic and intercom mic. :(

Guess I will have to buy a new lighter helmet later. :/

Can the mucs not go on booms or in the cheek pad?

My Sena mic is on a boom and my Drift mic is in the cheek pad.

All my vids are mic in cheek.

Think intercom mics need to be closer to the mouth though. Should be able to get a boom kit for your comms I'm guessing, and you can tape your vlogging mic to it then.

After several bad buys (Shoei/Schuberth) I have switched back to Arai. I have the Chaser now, in the past I had a couple of GT Vipers which were ace but the Chaser is very comfy. I was very disappointed with the Schuberth as it fell to pieces and was incredibly noisy. The Shoei was a lovely lid but it didn't suit my head shape on naked bikes and gave me a mega headache.

I also have a Davida open-face lid which is actually the quietest lid I have ever owned but is a bit chilly when you up the pace

I'm using an Icon Airmada Miscreant. This is my first helmet so I have no idea how it compares to others.

The things I like about it:
+covers most safety specifications
+Graphics are just awesome
+Several visor options
+Great ventilation
+Removable liner

The things I don't like
-Quite noisy
-No chin curtain option
-Visor antifog coating is too fragile and eventually was so bad I removed all of it.
-Not the best seal on the visor, but no water leaks, just wind noise.

Definitely my next one will have to sport a chin curtain or something to make it a bit quieter and probably pinlock insert. Heard good reviews on those.
