So What Lid Are You Wearing?

Currently, HJC IS-17, AGV K3-Sv and an old HJC IS - 16 miss my old Shark S-700 thought :(

Oh and had a terrible terrible MDS helmet at one point

I've got a local dual sport helmet that I wear.
Like the peak for the sun and the drop down shades come in very handy.

Slightly modded;
Have an intercom for riding with my buddy, top mounted virb elite cam and some EL wire cause I thought it looks cool at night.

I dig the wire. I've always been curious how long the battery lasts with that stuff.

Still rocking a Shoei RF1100 at the moment, but I am in the market for a new helmet this year.

I have a Shark S700s Squad, nothing fancy as it was all my budget would allow for now :)

Currently I am riding in a AFX FX-95 Airstrike. I needed something quick to get riding and picked it up. It has served its purpose but I am looking to get into something a little more robust in features. Currently I am looking at the Icon Variant, Shark Skwal, or Schuberth E1 to pick up here in the next month or so.

I just picked up a Bell MX-9 Adventure with my new CRF250L. It's a very comfortable helmet and moves a lot of air, but it's loud as hell. I don't think I'll wear it much on the highway.

I have a Schuberth SR1 with a gopro mount on the front chin. It works nicely for me however, i'd advise to avoid this helmet at £80 for a new visor, clear or tinted.. you feel robbed and used! even after the helmet takes a gigantic chunk out of your bank as it wasn't the cheapest around.. lol

Expensive visors are the devil, of course they only get dinged and filthy and are only slightly required for being able to see (especially when headlights are on at night).

Luckily HJC visors are only about 35$ CAD

Yeah, thats nice! My partner had a HJC helmet. They're nice and they usually have the internal sun visor which is a bonus! However, I don't know what the wind noise is like with HJC... I find Shark helmets provide the least wind noise for me..

Wind noise IRL? Or for motovlogging? Or both?

I mean you can hear the wind in my motovlogs, but it's not overwhelming.

There's really no such thing as a quiet helmet, at highway speeds, sustained riding without protection can result in hearing loss.

That said. At 100km/h. I'm going to get wind noise in my video, which I can accept...the wind is part of riding, but my voice still comes through nicely. I think it's more a product of the device/micropone combination.
