Well count Brock Harrison and Matthew Aaron Brady out now. That leaves Ardell, LRider13, Trent Williams, William Garrison, and I think is Matthew Freeman going to be there? 2 people already opted out already.
Matthew Aaron Brady said that he did not have decent rain gear to make the trip or his friend Taylor. This was just posted on the facebook page. So, only 6 people are confirmed going.

Need to add a Ben Clark and friend to the attendees list. I think they be camping near by instead of staying at the inn.
My bike is ready after a few hours of arrangements last night. I put the virb camera on as rear facing so I hope to get some cool footage this year.

Well, that was a great meetup. Up until the point I kept getting LEFT BEHIND MOST OF THE TRIP ON THE "GROUP RIDE". I am uploading a video to my channel that will show how "fun" it was for me in 2 parts. I liked riding down with spektrum841 and how he was calm, when the rest of the group was wanting to leave me like they did MOST OF THE TIME!! WHERE IS THE FUN IN LEAVING ME ALONE TO FEND FOR MYSELF ON CURVY ROADS, WITH RAIN AND BLIND CORNERS WITH NO SUPPORT IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS? 20 TO 30 MINUTES AWAY, OR TIMING ME TO GET FROM POINT A TO POINT B IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT A GREAT EXAMPLE OF BEING IN A "GROUP RIDE" !!! THERE ARE PLENTY OF EXAMPLES OF THE WAY A GROUP RIDE IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE, AND THEY DO NOT INCLUDE ONE RIDER BEING ALL ALONE, WITH CONDITIONS THAT COULD AND DID DETERIORATE, SO FAR AS WEATHER IS CONCERNED. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A "SWEEPER" THAT STAYED BEHIND ME, IN CASE THE BIKE BROKE DOWN, AND STAYED BEHIND ME THE WHOLE TRIP OR IF I HAD A MAINTENANCE PROBLEM WITH THE BIKE!!!!! I AM SERIOUSLY DOUBTING NEXT YEARS MEETUP AND EVEN GOING TO ANY MORE FUTURE MEETUPS UNTIL THINGS CHANGE!!!! HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A REAL, "GROUP RIDE" AT:

(Granted it is a big ride, and it is WELL ORGANIZED, but at least there are people that actually go ALONG with the riders in case something HAPPENS ALONG THE ROUTE!!! HINT, HINT, CLUE, CLUE).

Here is another example of a smaller "group ride" that at least STUCK TOGETHER the whole trip at:
.

Not ONCE did these riders ever get separated. This rider had real "fun" in a group ride, and was not LEFT ALL ALONE during the the ride.

Yet, another example of a "group ride" that STUCK TOGETHER at:
.
(THIS IS A GROUP OF 4 RIDERS THAT PROBABLY COVERED THE SAME AMOUNT OF MILES AS WELL)

IN SUMMARY, I WANT TO ADD, THAT UNTIL THINGS ARE BETTER PLANNED, AND I AM INCLUDED IN THE RIDE ALL THE WAY, EVEN THE PRE-PLANNING, IN WHICH I WAS NOT INCLUDED, I WILL NOT GO TO ANOTHER MEETUP EVER AGAIN!!!! IN A GROUP RIDE, IN MY OPINION, AND OTHER SEASONED RIDERS, YOU NEVER, EVER, EVER LEAVE A RIDER IN A GROUP RIDE TO FEND FOR HIMSELF!!!!!! WHERE IS THE FUN IN THAT???

This is what happened on the meetup in Clarksville.
This is part 1.
I seriously doubt that I will ever attend a "group ride" like this ever again, if I am left all alone like I was.
In the military, YOU NEVER LEAVE YOUR BUDDY BEHIND, or "EVEN LEAVE YOUR WINGMAN". However, that is what EXACTLY HAPPENED TO ME!!!!!

All I see is someone who rides slower than the group he went riding with. This is surprising considering you talked about how you ride so hard you need traction control. Hell, you claim to be "all alone" when you're still in plain view of their mirrors. As I said to you before, this always has been a 'ride your own ride' event. We're not going to slow the entire group down because you can't keep up.

The follow post has no intention of ill will or disrespect:

The Possum Pie Run has always been a gathering where you ride your own ride at your comfortable pace. At each junction we stopped and waited for all riders to regroup before proceeding, as it was done every previous year. At one junction while waiting we asked a passing motorist if they had seen or passed a motorcycle. When they replied "no," we decided to start suiting up and turn around to look for a lost rider. This is a group ride, but when you're below the speed limit on dry curvy roads with almost zero cars, don't expect people to go slow for you. There are many videos on YouTube from previous years showing that this gathering was not going to be a cruise. You even said you watched my video from the 2014 event. There are places in the video that even show us stopping and waiting for the tail of the group to catch up.
If you cannot keep up with the group and do not like being in the back then you can get more practice riding your motorcycle, become more familiar with banking corners (taught in MSF basic rider coarse), get a more manageable motorcycle for your skill level, ride the national forest roads we were on and know what to expect.
From a personal opinion: I think you're a great person and nice guy, but you need to learn to ride your motorcycle better if you want to ride twisty roads with a group of people who take vacation with the intent to ride their ride o twisty roads.
I for one had a blast and will be working on a video. The Prism camera was great to have and the Virb pointing rearward got some great video too. Monday morning (today) when I left to return home, 103 was AWESOME. Dry, sunny, 73-75 degrees, and minimal cars. Got video of it too so I'll put it on a separate upload. And the new inside joke: "Have you met Jerod?" Glad Ben and Jerry were able to make it, they're some good characters!

Dammit, something interesting always happens when I don't get to go. Of course something interesting always happens when I do get to go as well. Shit, I think it just means there's always going to be SOMETHING odd happening at this meetup! Good to hear you guys had some good weather as well. I watched the storms roll through on the radar, some of the overnight stuff looked pretty hairy.

I had a strange message from a member who isn't happy about being left behind from your meet.

im in the UK. It's not my problem

Watch his first video - he started falling behind less than 30 seconds into the ride - we were only going 40 mph MAX (were inside town traffic) and he was bitching he couldn't keep up, lol.

renegadebiker24,
Stick to the "Toys for Tots" and "Save the Ta-Ta's" rides, the kind of group ride where you can reach over and tap the next rider's shoulder is obviously the kind of ride that appeals and suits you. The Ozarks Meet-up has never been, and never will be, that type of ride. There are always "another side of the story", I'm betting the other 6 variations of this story wouldn't go well for you, so unless you want the world to know what really happened, I'd suggest you drop it and move on. The 2 videos you have posted so far do not make you look all that convincing, and clearly display some riding deficiency - on straighter sections of road.

I'll leave you guys to sort out your own flame wars ;)

Had a great time this weekend. Thanks for adding to my memory banks guys! XXX526 Thank you for tips on GPS apps and how to setup tracs. I'll be putting that knowledge to good use soon.

Same here! Sorry the internet connection was so slow, made it hard to give a good tutorial. GalileoPro is pretty easy to use once you get into it and use it a little.
