Best thing about a 125cc is the MPG!. I would happily of stayed on it, if those bikes were more powerful.

What's normal MPG for a grown-up bike? I'm getting an average of 70-80mpg on F800 GT without trying to be economical.

An overall positive review. My only issue is price, KTM's are quite pricey locally to start with. But cant wait to see.

I'm imagining that the "R" version will be around £10k in the UK. I do hope it is as good as I want it to be!

No news on the "R" version, but some pics of the 790:

The 790 Duke has 105bhp / 86Nm with a claimed dry weight of 169kg.

It’s got a steel frame and an aluminium sub-frame and looks to be a bit easier to clean than the 390 is. Fitted with WP adjustable suspension, it’s also has cornering abs with "Supermoto mode" (which I think is a bit of a gimmick if the rear brake is anyway near as bad as the one fitted to the 390. It has lean angle traction control and riding modes including a track mode. Other features include a quickshifter, launch control, colour TFT dash and WP steering damper.

.... Well it is possibly looking like a £10k price tag, I am hoping that is for the "R" version else they are dreaming. The silencer while still being high level looks like it will run along the side rather than under the seat which is sad to read too! :-(

KTM have just announced the price tag for the released version with 105bhp: £8,500.00 which is kinda on the money.... but does make me wonder if there will be an "R" version at the £10k ish price point. A new ECU, free flowing pipe and air filter is gonna cost that going with rough pricing so it could be a thing. Would need to be lighter by around 3kg than the standard exhaust and add 10+ BHP to be worth it unless it has improved brakes and suspenders as well.... in which case it'll be a bigger price point than £10k
