Hey all, can you please post any info you have including videos etc (if allowed) on the KTM 790 Duke in this thread as you hear it. I really really really want one if it is even 80% close to the prototype bike in the promo vids. I WANT THIS BLOOMIN BIKE!!! :D

Hope it has decent build quality. I recently looked at a 1290 for a replacement. Not sure on wanting to own a KTM once the warranty runs out.
 
I've owned 4 KTMs in the past, one was over 10yrs old and still going strong. What are your concerns with the build quality? :-)
 
Could be different over there but here we have the problem of the importer not holding a great deal of parts. I know a few people who have waited weeks for things to come from overseas once the bikes get a little older.
 
never had issues with parts, got a decent dealer network in the UK and being from Europe parts don't take long to get here if out of stock. God, I sound like a fanboy.... which I kinda guess I am a bit! lol :D
 
There will be two versions of the 790 Duke, a base model with 97bhp and the "R" with 115bhp. The "R" will possibly have a single seat & rorty zorst.

have you managed to put it in a vid? I was also picked up on some other words today by @CafeRob81 "skeg" and "butchers" :D

Maybe I need to do a series like camthrowsdown did and intro some colloquialisms us UK folk may utilise! :D
