Hey all, can you please post any info you have including videos etc (if allowed) on the KTM 790 Duke in this thread as you hear it. I really really really want one if it is even 80% close to the prototype bike in the promo vids. I WANT THIS BLOOMIN BIKE!!!

Hope it has decent build quality. I recently looked at a 1290 for a replacement. Not sure on wanting to own a KTM once the warranty runs out.

I've owned 4 KTMs in the past, one was over 10yrs old and still going strong. What are your concerns with the build quality?

Could be different over there but here we have the problem of the importer not holding a great deal of parts. I know a few people who have waited weeks for things to come from overseas once the bikes get a little older.

never had issues with parts, got a decent dealer network in the UK and being from Europe parts don't take long to get here if out of stock. God, I sound like a fanboy.... which I kinda guess I am a bit! lol

It will more or less look something similar to the new 390.

There will be two versions of the 790 Duke, a base model with 97bhp and the "R" with 115bhp. The "R" will possibly have a single seat & rorty zorst.

have you managed to put it in a vid? I was also picked up on some other words today by @CafeRob81 "skeg" and "butchers"

Maybe I need to do a series like camthrowsdown did and intro some colloquialisms us UK folk may utilise!
