Hello all,

Cool site and you know I remember some time ago this site being mentioned, anyways glad I found it and looking forward to many reads and posts. So to the task at hand;

My name is Bob I picked Vader1701 because I like both Star Wars and Star trek the original series

A Bit about me, I am a Senior tech for a local Government, (no comments from the gallery) I am in the Networking, PC, Server, Two-Way radio field and have been for 33+ years. I love to ride, I have only been riding since 2008 so I am a rookie as far as riding goes, I took and take refreshers every other year an MSF class.

I ride a 2008 Yamaha Majesty 400cc maxi-scooter

I started vlogging in 2009 as soon as I started watching vlogging on YouTube and I was hooked

I have had many camera set ups and types, trial and error and learning process, I now own the GoPro HD Hero 2 and have it mounted on my bike, did not want to mount it on my helmet at least not yet.

Here's a pic;

I have a blog that I do for fun, it doesn't get any comments it does get read according to Google stats but no biggie again it's for fun.
Here is the link for that;

and finally...

My YouTube channel is;
LordDarthVader1701

Please sub and take a look around, both are a work in progress.

Hi from the beautiful, green and flat east of Croatia

I'm 16 years old and I've been a member of this forum for a while now but I haven't introduced myself yet.
I have yet to do the 125cc exam so I can start riding and become a full member of the motorcycling community :)
I've been learning english since I was around 4 or 5 years old and it's like my second native language so I won't have any problems understanding all of you.
I don't have a camera yet, but I plan to buy one soon, and it'll probably be a GoPro 2
I also already have a dillema for what bike to buy... I'm not sure should I go for a 2100 pound '07 125 Yamaha xt with loads of equipment (including stands and a topcase) at an expense of it being a bit slower, or a 2450 pound '10 125 Yamaha yzf with hid's and it being faster that the xt, what do you guys recommend?

Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but when/if I start to motovlog, I'll be the first one from Croatia, right? :D

sorry for the long post

welcome :) well you'd definatly be the first person I've seen from Coatia. Two very different bike choices, a few people on here will say go with the YZF as they have them, but sometimes the offroaders are fun too. Upto preference really.

- Name or handle
My name is Jake my handle on Youtube is tweekscratch

- Where you're from
I currently live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area which during the summer gets mistaken for the surface of the sun on occasion.

- A bit about you. For example; what you do for a living, your interests etc.
I’m a software engineer and work as a consultant leading teams to deliver projects for my various clients
Outside of work I ride motorcycles (street & track), I work with my daughters who are learning to race go karts, and I occasionally work with hand guns and rifles.

- What bike you ride
On the street I ride a 2012 Ducati 848EVO and on the track I’m riding a 2007 ZX-6r

- Why you started v-logging
I’ve been watching other vloggers for a long time, I enjoy playing with gadgets and it seems like fun.

- What camera setup you use
I’m currently using a Contour Roam, I also have a POV HD, but the Roam is easier to work with

- Links to blogs/website you may own
I have a technical blog: http://www.guerillaprogrammer.com/jakew
My personal blog is: http://tweekscratch.blogspot.com
I’ve not updated either blog in a very long time and the way things are going it will be a while before I start blogging regularly again.

I’ve been posting videos for a long time, but older stuff is just videos from the track and some other nonsense. I started vlogging in July and I’m still trying to get things worked out. Maybe it is just me but it has been harder than it looks.
For instance, getting the mic setup just right so you don’t overdrive it or pick up a ton of wind noise. I’m still working on that. Avoiding breathing through your mouth when your allergies have you struggling for air: good fun.
The most of all: self editing. You know: actually finish an entire thought in under 10 minutes without wondering off aimless on a dozen different topics. Nevermind actually sounding good – just finish a bloody thought before chasing the next shiny thing that catches your attention!
I’m even more impressed by the other bloggers out there on this one.

Anyway – hope you’ll swing by and check out my channel.

I currently work as a Telesales Advisor, I am always out and about on my bike, I am not a big girl and only ride in the summer, I ride in all weathers, not in snow though, pocket rockets dont work well in snow unfortunatly lol. I go to the local bike night on Poole Quay when I can and I am always out with mates playing football or riding around or playing pool or bowling lol.

- What bike you ride
Currently: VFR 800 (Honda)
Previous: ZZR 600 (Kawi) (Was restricted after I did my license)
Previous: YBR 125 (Yamaha)
Previous: Looxor 50 (Pegeot moped)

- Why you started v-logging
I have had a youtube channel for about 2-3 years now, mainly doing gaming videos on PC and Xbox and I was always doing vlog type stories over gaming videos of me playing fifa or cod or whatever. I every now and again do random vlogs on the channel and I found out about motovlogging this past weekend and thought this would be a great new direction since I have got bored with gaming videos and this is deffinatly a new adventure, plus I get to do it while doing something I love, which is riding my bike :)

- What camera setup you use
Got a Contour ROAM on the side of my helmet, just got a dictaphone on ebay and waiting for that to come through and I will do a live video like the rest of you pro's lol :)

I missed this one, but sweet! Another Harley guy!

well I posted a thread but I figure I'll do this too!

Name or handle
Andrew aka Ruckabusa

Where you're from
Iowa in the USA

A bit about you. For example; what you do for a living, your interests etc.
Currently am a full time student - studying for my BA in Social Sciences Education.
My main interests in the past few years have mostly revolved around cars. I decided to buy a bike this year though and now I'm hooked! I still love cars and really miss having my drag car but bikes are such a better focus for me right now being that they aren't the money pit a fast car is! That said, when I graduate and get a bit settled another project car will definitely happen! Aside from that I enjoy traveling, gaming, fishing, outdoors in general, and in general just goofing around.

What bike you ride
2008 Kawasaki ZZR-600cc
2007 Honda Ruckus 49cc

Why you started v-logging
Well I pretty much learned of it from some vloggers who posted "how to ride a bike" videos when I was first wanting to get a bike. After getting my first bike I'd be riding around a lot sometimes just thinking about the dumbest stuff and just thinking out loud inside my helmet (I'm crazy!) and I figured, hey maybe vlogging give me a reason to be considered a little less crazy and have a reason to talk to myself! I'd been considering motovlogging heavily then I found a few of lauriejennifer's videos and she mentioned this site in one and here I am! I haven't started vlogging just yet - still waiting on my new helmet to come in + I need to buy a mic!

What camera setup you use
GoPro HD Hero 2

A link to your YouTube channel!
I made a brand new channel for my vlogging as I'd like to keep my main original channel more for all the non-vlogging videos I do.

Here's my vlogging channel:

http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKYpGsA ... ature=mhee

Like I said unfortunately no videos yet. My new helmet is currently ordered that I'll be mounting my GoPro too. Currently I'm using an old fulmer af400 which has no windscreen since it was broken and I'm pretty sure the wind getting in would kill the mic quality. + I'm squidding it up right now waiting for my gear to get here, so most of my rides are pretty boring just putting around town right now.

And then if you're interested in mainly car videos, here's my original channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/Bbdrew?feature=CAQQwRs%3D

Hey everybody. I haven't exactly done any vlogging yet, but I do plan to get into it. Main reason I haven't done any yet because I'm currently in Germany and getting ready to pack my bike up and head back to the States. The Army is sending me to Texas. I just thought I would introduce myself and hopefully I won't have to wait long until I get my bike from the shipping company. I'm on a BMW G450X. So hopefully I get to do some true dualsport vlogging. Later.

Some things you could include:

Hello, my name is Brian Ford ( http://www.facebook.com/brian.ford.980 ), I live in Richmond, Indiana. I have 2 kids that are 5 and 6 years old. I am married to the most beautiful and smartest woman in the world. We also have a 10 month old Belgian Malinois dog. I am 34 years old and I am currently in school getting my degree in Computer Information Technology with an emphasis in PC Support and Administration. We currently own/ride, and I say we because we both, wife and I, a 2003 Honda CBR 600 F4I. We are not able to ride at this time due to a wreck that happened in August. I started vlogging because it looked like fun. It looked like a good way to meet new people with a common interest. The camera that I have is a Go Pro Hero 2. I bought it the day before my first bike vlog in August.
