Graphics Design (Free Work!)

Okay folks, here's the chase. Due to largely unforeseen circumstances, (total of 10 request in 3 days, honestly didn't think anyone would request anything at all!) I am closing requests for -FREE- graphics.

Commissioned work is still open and I will finish all of the free graphics that have been requested thus far but I'm starting to pour a lot of work into these and it's hugely time consuming!

This does not mean no free graphics at all, it just means for a couple of weeks.

This does not mean I'm being a money grabbing bastard because I think my work is so brilliant it deserves money, I'm just simply very short on cash, what with being a student and all. My computer is on its last legs and the south bridge overheats unless I have a powerful external fan blowing on it constantly.

So in short, free graphics requests are -CLOSED- but paid for commissions are still open!

ALL current requests will be fulfilled ONLY if you've given me a reply to my inbox. If not, you missed the boat I'm afraid.

Carkeh - in the interests of funding tax-dodging-skiving-layabouts - uh, sorry, students - how much are you charging commission? :lol: I realise this may vary depending on complexity, like if I requested you go get a personal picture of Clemence Poesy, but an idea of scale would be useful

Well in order to give you an estimate would really ultimately depend on the project, but I'd say as a kind've 'go-to' for a simple 1280x720 logo I'd say £2.50 a pop, depending on where you're from this may vary (what with currency exchange rates and what not) but I'd have that as the basis.

Now if I were to spend say 5 hours on a logo or something I'd probably ask for a little bit more, I mean fairs fair and all, 3 hours is about the average time I spend on a logo so the extra 2 hours is well worth the extra dosh. I mean if I then start charging set rates for this all it means you as the client get to be more picky, you could tell me to go away and do the whole thing again that I'd spent 3 hours on, but I would then only charge you the same base rate for the first product, as you wanted something changed.

So yeah £2.50 as a basis for work on a simple 1280x720 logo taking up to 3 hours. Other pieces such as channel layouts may vary in price as it's not something I've ventured into yet.

Sorry guys and gals, I'm gonna have to up the cost of each commission for a standard logo. This is due to me fluffing up my interview at Mc Donalds today because I couldn't get hold of the right pair of shoes. The email said I should wear flat, smart shoes to the interview but mine were in my locker at school and when I went to retrieve them I was unable to due to an exam taking place in that room. I'm incredibly pissed off over it, not to mention the fact that my father has told me how 'disappointed' he is in me.

Words cannot describe how pee'd I am right now, I've actually barricaded myself in. Gonna stay up late tonight working on graphics.

Standard rate will be £5 or upwards depending on the complexity, I have no job at all now. Not even hope of one.

Which one of Curly's? On the non-firey/smokey ones I used a stock image to do the pattern on the text, yes. But the rest of it I made a grungey background and used several varying brushes/effects.
