Well most importantly I can still use the GP10 sena backpack on the 4 and you can't on the 5. I also find the mic adapter more reliable and find the audio better on the 4 when using a wired mic. As far as quality goes I don't see a difference between the camera on my videos.
Don't get me wrong I love both cameras which is why I use both. I just think the 4 is a better vlogging cam and the 5 is great for secondary angles and off the bike stuff. I use the 5 on the kayak too since it's waterproof without the case and records ambient sound better.
thanks for the feedback. I have to say I am concerned as to the durability of the USB-C connector on the 5, I hope it lasts ok, else I'll have a very expensive paperweight!
after a mega search of this forum, I've now ordered a 3D printed offset gopro adaptor, should mean I can mount closer to the lid and be a bit tidier a set up!
