No it just stops recording altogether it dosent start again and on 1080p 30fps it runs fine, bit 60fps it just stops on 17 minutesStops and starts another file? Or just stops that's it?
The file systems most cameras use are limited to 4GB file size, and at 1080/60, that's about 4GB. If you're not recording at that setting it maybe that it just caps the files at about that time, I think my baby GoPro does, as most files are around 2GB if I'm recording at half the res of 1080/30 (or 720/60 as it's a smiliar size per unit time as 1080/30)
for the class its a sandisk extreme, which is recommended on the go pro website for all settings :S..Size of the card doesn't matter. The class does. Make sure it's a class 10 one. Have you updated the GoPro to the latest version? If it stops EVERY TIME at the same time, could be a bug, or setting. I've had my shares of bad files / failed recording but mostly random.
The 3+ black edition, i have the option of sending it back or getting a replacement,What model? I read something about the 3+ black doing this while shooting 1080X60 with WIFI on. I saw my black do this too, which my silver has never done...
no the wifi is on when i record,Superview is kind of a gimmick, skip it IMO...
Are you leaving the WIFI off?
Its not an actual change in resolution it essentially artificially stretches the image, kind of meh imo

Turn your WIFI off and see if it does the same thing
