I've been looking for a tank bag that'll allow me to stow away a Nikon Z8 + 180-600mm lens attached - the length of which comes to about 17 inches (43cm). There should technically be enough space on either side of the lens to also put a mini drone by my reckoning. Was wondering if any of you have attempted carrying a camera with 600mm lens attached, and what have you used to carry it. I'm not too keen on a backpack because of back issues and extremely bad roads here.
My current Rynox tank bag (popular brand here in India) has an internal length of 30cm and that has served me well for keeping a Sony RX10iv and Insta360 X4 within a camera bag.
