Serious Can't Post A Video? - Read And Then You Can Post

Brilliant idea to be fair. As a new member it was the 1st place I came and I wanted to post my vids. I think that could get annoying for the everyday users. Looks like I will like it here =]

Too bad for people like me who are getting started and want to get known but dont have time to make 5 posts a day. I guess that's me done.

Just to clarify, is it 5 posts per the last 7 calendar days or is it averaged out over the length of time you've had your account?
EX: 21 day old account needs to have 15 posts, 6 month old account needs 120 posts..

5 post in the last 7 days iirc.

It can take a short while for your post count to update properly, so you may need to be patient before posting in here.

I like it. It definitely seems fair. Even though I am extremely new to this, I don't feel like I would want to spam my videos. I would prefer to feel like I have earned my views and subs (limited though they are :) ), by having people interested in me and watching my videos of their own accord.

Just my 2 cents.

I kind of agree with this idea and kind of not. I have been a member here for a long time. Life gets busy at times or bikes break and to have to start all over seems a bit of overkill. I can understand for new members to have a rule like this or something but for members who have been on here for a while... Either way, I guess I have to start over now that my forks are fixed and back on the bike. Now... if I wasn't supposed to be at work at 2am I could ride everyday and vlog everyday.

I just made at least ten posts over the last hour or so and I'm still unable to post a video. Guess I'll try in the morning...

I gave it overnight and it's working now. Takes more than a few minutes, but at least I know to at least post up something a few times a week.

Hold up can someone clarify please.. I've been a member for some time now but haven't posted because of filming in india for months. Does that mean I've got to post 5 posts worth for every single week I've been a member? We're talking about 100's of posts here. Seems like I should just re register and post 5 times rather than spam every post on the forum to make up for the months I've been away... :S Doesn't seem legit considering my feedback is actually useful the majority of the time I do post. This is penalizing those who don't spam.

As a suggestion I would consider allowing people "credits" on their account, based on 10 post = 1 Video post allowed. If people engaged with the LIKE button more then credits could be given based on Likes and not post count which would stop spamming.

Sorry for double post

I am pretty sure its just 5 posts per week as I have taken lengthy breaks and when I have time to check back in I reply to the threads I am watching and usually before I know it, I am able to post a video again.

I think this is a totally reasonable policy. And I may or may not be taking this opportunity to say so directly because of said policy :)

I guess it's cool, I work a lot so I don't have a lot of time to make posts on here, and I feel like just randomly posting so that I can get a video up is kind of a BS way to do it.
