Our Scenic Life
Hello. My wife and I have done some extensive touring on our Canam Spyder RT (with trailer). I through a camera into the mix and it stuck.
We started a YouTube channel just for fun and it has become a bit more than a hobby now.
I found this forum while searching for other moto-vloggers so that I could get some inspiration and hopefully contribute. I know a lot of folks frown upon the Spyder but I have done many years of 2 wheel riding and we have been quite happy with our decision based on our riding style.
Thanks and I look forward to chatting with the group.

Also you might want to go into your profile page and add the link to your channel, that way people can find it until you do the requirements to be able to add it to your signature.

I can't post pics, vids, or links yet, I tried ;). I guess there are some restrictions for us newbies. I will update my profile and the thread when I am allowed.

It should allow you to add in pics if you click on the up[load file if iam remembering correctly. the link thing you might have to wait on though. lol thought it would still allow you to add it to your profile page.

should be able to add pics directly although won't be able to post externally hosted images I think.
Hi, welcome to the forum Mark :)

Welcome to the forum. A rider is a rider. The laws of physics apply to 2 wheels and three. Looking forward to watching your channel. You should be able to place a link to your YT channel in your signature.

Do you drive or ride the Spyder? I remember watching 44t video review on it haha still wouldn't mind giving one a spin! They do look really fun!

I'll admit it's a bit of both driving and riding, but for cruising comfort, it's one of the best I have ridden. After the first few weeks, it all comes naturally and I forget that I am on a three-wheeler. We've put almost 15k miles on it since 2015 and most of them are on long 5-7 day trips fully loaded on long and twisting country roads. At this point, it's about riding the Spyder. ;-)

Welcome! Over in my country we sort of joke about Spyder owners having all the inconveniences of a car, like getting stuck in jam, unable to lane split, having to pay toll for expressway, but having none of the conveniences of a car, like not getting wet if it rains.. Just jokes, just for fun. Anyway enjoy your ride and have fun motovlogging!

LMAO, yep we've heard it all. The strange thing is we've never been in a situation where we have been in a traffic jam, the 2 lane country roads allow passing but no lane spitting, no tolls, and we actually enjoy riding in the rain. Even stranger in all of our travels, on any given day, we are lucky if we see 1-3 motorcycles on the roads we travel. I guess they are busy in traffic or avoiding the weather. ;)

Yes I'd like to see a pic too ;)
As requested this is what we tour with. The ground effect lights were a winter project. All wired to a separate relay and fuse box, with custom disconnects for each section of the Spyder.
In the spring I added a cooler rack to the trailer tongue. Other additions include marine grade USB quick charge dock, X-cradle, armrests, and my "one" prototype floorboard (work in progress).
