If we were to plan meets in the UK around the weather then we'd never get one sorted, if the weather is bad we won't go, easy :)

I'll be there :)

If it rains lots, Cheddar Gorge gets closed.

Wait scratch that just spoke to a mate at college who lives round there and apparently its no longer flooded but the gorge is closed because the flood as f*cked the road or something :/

Can we have a post with a place, and date, and a rough plan. This thread seems to be getting sidetracked, and there's so many different pieces of information, I can't digest what's going on.

I also recommend having the meet on the Bank holiday weekend. It means that less of us have to tale holiday.

I'm pretty sure I get the bank holiday off so that sounds good to me. I've given my idea, whether people want to tack on a longer trip is up to them.

Curly, what are your intentions with this? You don't live round here after all so don't know where stuff is... Somerset is way more than three hours from you.
LazyDays, have you got any ideas with regards to a route? Could make it a two day thing? I don't fancy going all the way down to Plymouth via A roads though after a day's riding though which could screw over 125 L platers...

Agreed! If its going to happen and im able to do it then i need a 100% confirmed date to tell work that i wont be in

I personally don't mind about the details, i just wanted to get the discussion going, the bank holiday sounds like a good plan though :)

Hello, I'm new to all this but it seems most of these meets happen on Sundays, so may i be so bold as to suggest we all commit to Sunday March 31 being the date so now we just have to decide a place.

I think it's best to have a bit more discussion before we decide on a date, although of course we have the 31st as a possible. It would also be a good to do an introduction on a separate topic so we can all learn a bit about you :)

Morning lads.

Sorry I've not been greatly involved in this recently. I'm not too fussed about what dates we meet up on but I will need decent notice to get holiday booked; I've got to play it carefully but I'll do it at the same time I book my time off for Kent and first round of BSB.

Regarding my part, I wasn't going to suggest a full tour of Devon but the northern parts would probably a more realistic option to consider if we were to take a couple of days for this meet. Could give me an excuse to bimble up that way one Monday soon for research purposes.

Pretty hyped already!
