Absolutely, anyone who wants to meet on route and ride a bit is welcome. If you can make it for the wkend or for the main meet though thatd be good too!

I'm booked in at Little Downderry which is 1.8 miles from the campsite, so pretty close. Better count me as definite, then! Oh, my!

My next big trip after this is around Scotland. 10 days, 1800 miles, wild camping
Doubt Ill get it in this year.
Timtom123 is meeting us on the way down, and hopefully riding a stretch with us
BST, are you wanting to meet up with as at stonehenge as thats where were meeting avow? I think you mentioned it previously.

Evening lads.
As I mentioned to Mr Twister on Twitter, I will be joining you guys for the Sunday and I'll be taking you lot and whoever else shows up for a ride around Devon. I've got a few ideas in mind as to where I want to take you but before I set a route in stone, I want to gauge how long a ride out people would want. I'd love to take everyone up to the A39 along the north coast of Devon because it's truly a stunning road, however, to get there is at least 80 miles and combined with the other roads I have in mind, we'd be looking at, at least, 180+ miles.
Either way, I'll be doing my own vlog about it on my way into work tomorrow and I'll try to drum up some more interest. Trouble is that everyone seems to be too bloody norf!

Thanks again for pitching in and a vlog on it will definitely be appreciated! The fact everyone is too far norf is one of the reasons to do it whilst some if us are there anyway
Regarding the trip, the bigger the group the slower the pace. Youve got to think we'll be within the speed limit for the most part be a good degree. Stopping for lunch would be good too as the campers will only have had time for brekkie before riding to Torquay from the campsite. Which is 80 - 95 miles done already. So a total ride out of maybe 60-80 miles with a lunch stop in the middle? As we will have 95 miles back aswell. Unless we go across towards Bideford/Bude maybe a create a loop towards st austell rather than away, which would allow some people who want to join us for an evening meal to do so?

Just a thought of a way to approach the route. Obviously less time spent on main roads the better which will add time so distance can be reduced. PPL will want time to chat as well as ride

The road that we'll use from point D in Yelverton down to Plympton can be changed; the other option is a little more direct but less fun. I plan to take everyone to Captain Jasper's in Plymouth for lunch on the Barbican but I'll have other stops prepared for little breaks/photos/videos etc. You will need cash for Jasper's but it's nice little place for a burger that's pretty popular with riders.

Route looks good, depending on time etc we can assess how its going from Plymouth as its 90mins or so back for us campers. We might want to head south from there but we can see on the day. Jaspers for a late lunch sounds ideal too

Lucky you! I started filling a cardboard box so it was all in one place. Im gonna need a bigger bike! :lol:
