Hey guys! I just found this amazing website and i wanted to salute all of you from London.
I ride a Yamaha Mt03 2007 and i record it with a GoPro Sesion5. Check my channel and help me improve my work. Drive safe!
Anyone else out there have this helmet? I'm having trouble finding a mounting location. This helmet have angles along the areas that would normally be smooth. Which is keeping the gopro mount from sticking to the surface.
I've been trying to determine where a good helmet/body facing mount point would be on my bike. I ride a ZX6R, so mounting on my handle bars might be a bit tricky. I've also heard that you can expect a substantial amount of camera shake if you mount directly to the windscreen.
What have your...
Hi guys, recently upgraded to a Hero5, yeah i know the adapters an ugly brick of a thing but meh i don't care. I have the adapter on order atm and have picked up a lapel mic and some cables (2 3.5mm Y-splitters and 1 3.5mm male-to-male) in attempts to capture my voice as well as audio from my...
Just received an order I made from Shapeways and it has really streamlined my helmetcam setup! :)
(pics removed as photobucket started charging - photos now shown later in the thread)
It is the top piece of the 2 I am using on my helmet.

I have just received through the post one of those dead mouse furry mic covers so thought I'd do a sound test. Should really have done a back to back with how I had it before to see if there is an improvement or not and tbh the proof is in the pudding so need to test it on bike in the wind.
I...
Figured this warranted its own thread since its a fairly popular topic these days.
I did some research on the GoPro Hero 5 USB-C adapter and it turns out the brick also encrypts the traffic going to the camera effectively preventing 3rd party adapters unless they spend the time to crack the...
Recently got the chance to test my new motovlogging setup out. Looks amazing with the exception of having to play with the mic a little to avoid voice cracking. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HATE!!! If you wanted to get this camera, just do it! I speak about three main reasons that influenced my decision...
Hey Guys! This was my first motovlog. I got a ton of feedback from other motovloggers on the camera angle, sound, rant.
My mistakes in this video:
Improper braking (Braking with only the back brake)
Not looking as far as I could into the road
Trying to talk through the whole time I was...
Alright everyone, the eternal question....what do you think is better and why!? The Drift, or the GoPro? I think both have their pros and cons, but ultimately I am one of the few that prefers the Drift for some reason.
+I think the Drift has a better form factor, being mounted on the side of...
Gopro Helmet and Mic Setup easy Guide For beginner motovloggers. I will be posting motovlogs based on providing cost and vlogging effective methods to make motovlogging more fun :)
I'm back! Was away on my honeymoon in Puerto Rico. And unfortunately, my GoPro Hero 3 suffered a watery death. My waterproof case isn't as waterproof as I thought it was, and it died when the case flooded while snorkeling around a reef off the coast of Culebra. :( So that's the end of my regular...
Just went on a posting spree to hit 20. Here's my first motovlog spurred by a crazy vandalization incident that happened in the middle of the night last week.
Enjoy.
I'm thinking about picking up a Hero4 Session as a B-cam for on the bike shots. You can grab them on eBay for $125-150 easily. Any serious niggles with this device or do you enjoy using it?
I currently have this bundle listed on eBay, but I'd be happy to deal outside of eBay to avoid fees. Got a new GoPro setup that isn't compatible with the Hero3 ecosystem.
Looking for $400 for everything. Located in West Los Angeles area.

Ok, I've been battling with cheap £1 mics from China for too long.
I've noticed on ebay that you can buy a replacement mic for your sena kit for around £10 - £20 (depending on whether it is boomed or just stuck to your chin bar) AND the older kits use a standard headphone jack which will plug...
