You guys actually plan your videos!!!
I very rarely plan anything when it comes to filming videos, I plan my rides usually but don't put much thought into the actual filming side of those rides, I generally just start the camera going and leave it going, I have my gopro plugged in to an external battery pack in my jacket pocket and the insta 360 is plugged into the bike, I get approx 4 hours of recording time on each with 256gb cards, it does make the editing take a lot longer as got lots of hours of footage to edit down to 20mins or so,
I need to maybe start planning my filming more and only record when I need to it wpuld certainly make the editing process simpler/quicker, I did try to only record when something interesting was going on (nice roads, scenery etc) but I found that a lot of the time I was enjoying my riding too much that I completely forget to switch on the cameras until its too late... so for now the constant recording works with enough SD cards to last me about a week on the road without having to transfer footage, any longer trips then I'll take my small laptop with me to transfer footage onto a hard drive.
