Hi everyone,

My name is Scoot Wookie and Im a new motovlogger out of Washington DC. So far im really enjoying the motovlog experience and have learned loads in the last few days. I have posted my first fully edited video yesterday on my YouTube channel but have a ways to go before I'm comfortable with future work. Please take a look and give me an honest critique

Since I am under link prohibition for a few days PM me for the YouTube channel Addy or simply type Scoot Wookie in YouTube's search bar. I'd really appreciate the help , I want to put new content out soon but won't do so until o correct my mistakes.

Also in regard to audio....I need to get a buffer, my obnoxious voice easily overpowers the one which came with mu camera.

Mod, please delete this thread...I can't get rid of it for some reason. I recreated a thread with my channel link and no longer need this .

Thanks.

I'm guessing you like the word FU*K! :p
Nice fu*king video.... but your mic lets it down a fu*king little ;-)

Jersey born and raised, can't go two seconds without a stream of obscenities flowing from my mouth. As far as the mic is concerned I am going to reposition and use some extra foam to dampen my extremely obnoxious voice. Second vid should be better quality in terms of audio. Thanks for watching though!

Let me know what you think.
Ok you asked for honest and I be it. You energy is very good that one of the biggest fail any YT personality misses. The big down side the language your going to lose your audience retention. And have less people that have kids in the room watch your video. It ok to drop a word now and agin but. You have to think of who most likely to watch your videos. You want to keep you audience at the age bracket of 25 to 40 they are the most Likly to click your adds and come back for more. But agin if they have kids they are less Likly to view you if they have to find a time where the kids are not around. Keep working it and keep going. I will keep watching.

Thanks for the reply man, I wish I had seen this sooner...You are right about the language, I need to at least tune it down a bit without losing my persona. Honestly though, its really the way I talk lol... I've been told by scores of people that I link words together with the F bomb...Its part of my up-bringing I guess, but I'll definitely work on it. Thanks for the reply man, got some new ideas for this week's videos...should be upgrading camera gear soon too.

It is hard I have to watch it a lot I served in the military and was able to yell profanities for 15 minutes straight without repeating the word! But with the intro of kids I had to work on it. Some time the f bomb is appropriate And is the right word to describe what going on. You make good content work on a bit more family friendly you get longer watch time and retention and that will help you on the long run. Your Awsome keep working it and ride safe

Some guys were talking about YT coming down on videos with too much profanity or etc, by censoring it (video unavailable) or disabling monetization on them.. Although it's not going to be "natural" for you to curse less than normal I guess if you don't want YT to disturb you, you gotta tone it down regardless.

Ride safe, safe ride!
