Note that you can use the FCPX trial for 30 days and see if you like the workflow. It is really the only game in town for professional editing that is in any way affordable.
If you want to go for a subscription model, there's Premiere as mentioned (which I dislike, but it works) or Avid Media Composer, which is much better but considerably more expensive-- although the monthly subscription makes it workable for most.
Another option to consider is Lightworks-- I'm not a huge fan of the workflow and there's no where near the third party support that exists for FCPX, but it is cheap (Premiere money) and much better than most other editors in that market segment.
