Where did you get your (YT) Name?

It's actually the second one I've done. Last year me and some mates did Tough Mudder. I trained religiously for about 8 months. Lots of circuit training, miles of running (I was up to about 10 miles by the end of training), and lots of interval training in the park where we'd run for 1km, then do press ups, another 1 km, then chin ups and so on for 10-12km. It was tough, but made the day of the event really enjoyable.

BUT, this year we did 'Spartan: The Beast'. and it was a different story. Not nearly as much training. I was running only 4 miles and doing half the circuits. Couldn't fit it in. As a result the day was a horrible tortuous slog of doom! Mainly because the event organisers were pretty lazy and the whole thing was a bit rubbish compared to Tough Mudder. Still, next year....

Wow. Just the training you did for it sounds like serious fun. :D If I start now I'd only have 3 months of training before Spartan: Sprint. I 'll most likely miss it. Sorry about your experience on the Spartan course. I hope it's much better for you next time around.

Good luck next year! I hope you catch it on camera for us. :)

Thanks @MsRandomnS you too. I reckon 3 months is plenty of time for the Sprint event. I got through 13 miles of the Beast mostly on tenacity and not wanting to tell people I couldn't finish!

I learnt a few lessons about recording this kind of event too.

chixwithtrix
I was sitting in my 7th grade English class listening to a couple of girls talk about their new band name chicks with guitars or something. At the time I was flying aerobatic radio controlled airplanes and was the only female at the flying club. I liked the catchy name chix and added trix on to the end because of the RC aerobatics I did. So - chixwithtrix. No it never started as a dirty name, but I can see where a lot of people could take it that way lol. It stuck with me for years and I even created a domain name using it haha

Me and some mates are doing the Spartan, then Tough Mudder later in the year. Would have been TM early in the year until they postponed it. For training I run during lunch and go to boxing gym.

I had struggled for a couple of days to decide what I'd call my page, I settled with TwoWheelsUK as I like the shorter version 'TWUK' which will come into play on my channel soon! :)

At first it was team7 but then I got into watching vloggers and a guy already had team6 and I was like.... Wow I don't wanna look like I'm copying someone, team7 was from an anime series of Naruto, Unfortunatly I then switched to Sickicksix because hahaha, kick six, as in kick team6 :P oh well probably makes no sense to anyone but least I tried

Well i use the same name across alot of the boards including one that associates me in a public way, aka with some searching you could find my real name easily.
So i was going to call myself Mr. Mumbles as i mumble quite a bit, but there was a youtube character called mr. mumbles already.

The nickname for my type of bike is a fazer (europe mainly) and fuzzy in the us. and i just kind came up with one from there so i made the YT account and tacked down the accounts on social media, gmail etc

got my name from how many times i would get stopped by the cops and profiled by the cops in my hometown. never got arrested the cops just would follow me all the time. I don't get a long with the law enforcement here (hometown). I can go anywhere else and not have a problem but it seems the cops down here just have their head shoved up their a** all the time.

I used to ride when I was much younger. Everybody thought I was always the calm, silly, soft spoken type. Then some jerk started a bar fight with one of my friends that was much smaller than him. I jumped over a table with a roar and took down the jerk that was closer to my size. No one had ever seen my like that. After it was all over they started calling me Beast the gentle giant. Then the road name became Beast. Now that I'm riding again I pay respect to those friends, some of whom have passed on, by keeping the name Beast.

I wanted something to do with speed or agility = "mach 1"
I wanted to show that I was Australian = "aussie"

and something easy to remember.
