What Have You Done To Your Bike Today?

Seems pretty fun working on your little bike...I'm starting to think I need a project.

it is fun. XD

do it man XD buy a old (or new just cheap)road legal dirt bike and do it up, parts are cheap and if u cant get it you can basically make anything to fit lol and then can go offroad scratch it up and not mind.

im always takeing it apart to further my mechanic knowledge and as its a 2 stroke its pritty basic no fairings to keep take off to get to anything. =]

how i bought my bike

Spent tha las fortnight fixing a clicking chain, old chain had kinks in so i changed it. Then the new chain had problems also, i looked at the front sprocket .... It had shatloads of gunk and crap on it from the old lube i used to use... Perhaps it was that ... I will never know , but on a lighter note the bike is all happy and fixed now :D

The Holy Grail showed up on my porch :D

Wha wha wha whaa...Ohlins?!

 Not quite, but very close - especially for a Street Triple owner that has the "pre-R" bike. These are off a 2010 D675 SE. They were swapped for Ohlins though, the donor bike is actually one of the 3 AMA Supersport bikes being raced at Daytona - I'll find out which one in a couple of weeks. I won't be in any hurry to install, still need to collect a few items.

That is still pretty dang cool.

Replaced my cracked and dirty Puig windshield...

... with a nice new Zero Gravity Double Bubble.

I'm not sure why the Puig cracked. The cracks are on the inside. The Zero Gravity is a bit thinner and more flexible so maybe it wont crack. All they had was light smoke, dark smoke and colored ones. I wanted clear but I'm actually really pleased with the look of the light smoke. It seems to function just as well if not better than the Puig.

I'm stealing this idea from another forum, because I feel as if it creates nice conversation and the occasional post from time to time.

The concept is simple...do something to your bike today and want to share? Post it here. For example: I changed the oil today / gave the bike a nice wash / I beat my girl up on some back roads. Anything will do. Have a picture? then post that as well!

Doesn't have to be something you did that exact day, could be a few days old.

I've decided to paint the muffler and pipes flat black and thought of firing up the bike to hear what it sounds like without them...

Bought it.
Insured it.
Paid taxes on it.
Put plates on it.
Rode it.

Today I will take pictures of it.
Later this week I will post those pictures.
