What Have You Done To Your Bike Today?

Half of it sounds like my wife :p ... she hates shopping & my bike, she has an ok dress sense (she's a tomboy :p ~) and I'm not sure about the long distance relationship because that's how we fell in love :p . Ah well, what can we do about our better halves, huh ;) ?

Kind of installed a new speedo cluster,
However,
Working

Indicator lights

High beams

Not working
Fuel level

water temp warning (its on all the time)
And engine light is on.

Ok. I have a list of things over the last few weeks.
I have swapped the exhaust for a full titanium akra system :D
I have prepped and painted all but the rad plastics in Ford electric orange.
I have added a custom decal set
I have given her a nice oil change with both new filters, a new rear tyre and rear brake pads.
There is so much more but I will leave it there...

Oh nothing much today, I got cit up by a van on the way home, pulled straight across the road Infront of me. Luckily I was paying attention so I slowed to a speedy stop and followed him the 10meters before he pulled over to do what ever he does for a job. Here was the convo we had.

Excuse me? Did you not see me going round that corner?
No, why did I do something wrong?
Yea, you pulled out Infront of me!
Oh, well I didn't see or hear you!
I am going to go now, before I punch you in the face, good day sir.
Wish my GoPro was recording but it was flat from yesterday, still on my helmet. Probably why he didn't wanna chat properly.

I just checked this out... looks nice  . There are many, though... which one would you recommend (reasonably priced, too - £=$ :( )??? Hope they can ship to the U.S.A. :/ ~.....

Well the one i got (Cyclone C-11 Talking Motorbike Alarm and Immobiliser System. Now known as the NCS C-11) i thought was the most reasonable one. Its REALLY simply to install, comes with two fobs to control it which has buttons to (activate alarm, deactivate alarm, remotely start the engine & if you loose your bike in a full car park, press the find button and your bike flashes the lights and beeps)

Thats pretty much all you need for a alarm i think, of course there is ones which have more advanced features if your budget is bigger.

The alarm itself, how it works. When you arm it, if you slightly nudge your bike a speaker says (Please step back, this vehicle is alarmed) and if you nudge it again within 5 seconds it sets off a permanent alarm.

Hope this helps :)

P.S If you type it in on youtube, there is loads of reviews just like (
)

^ That's impressive, thanks :D ! The only thing I don't like is the permanent alarm (would prefer temporary) but I guess if someone is trying to steal your bike, it may be better that the battery drains :p .

What is the installation like :o ???

I think you can change the permanent alarm to like a 15 minute setting, i think i read that somewhere. All i literally did was screwed the alarm system beneath my seat, screwed the siren and speaker were someone cannot see/find it and make sure the wire's are tidy. Then theres a 9 plug pin you hook up to the batterY (my battery already had a spare 9 pin connector luckily). And then you change one of the ignition wire's to the alarm wire, so if someone tries to hotwire it it sets of the alarm immeadiatly (sorry not great at explaining things) lol :)

Nah, that's good :D ! The V2 non-voice ordered... hopefully my wife doesn't find out ~_~ . I'm finally getting a repair on Tuesday that hopefully she doesn't find out about, either :( . *sigh* ~_~ .....
