What Have You Done To Your Bike Today?

I washed my helmet. It was getting nasty to the point of me being embarassed when someone else grabbed it. Yeah, people do that sometimes and I cannot say no as long as they don't try it on.

How do you do the foam thing?
 
Well it went abit like this "fap fap fap fap fap fap fap ohh maggie splurgee"
haha nah kidding its called snow foam, and you use an adapter for a jetwash and spray it on and leave it to work its magic, rince it then spray it on again then rince then wipe dry
its pretty good stuff tbh repels water when its dried off, but i finish it with QDS which is a quick detail wax which is brilliant :) its from a guy i know called mitch who runs his own company called inspired automotive

The only foam spray accesory I can get where I live is for Kärcher machines, they have a weird connector. I have a Black&Decker with an aftermarket hose so it's not compatible. :(
 
Its literally just like a mixxing container with the water, so maybe enquire to black and decker and see if they make something similar
 
Over the last week, changed engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, bled front disk brakes, washed and polished, applied kurust, changed handlebar drop, changed clutch cable, bought full new clutch replacement kit and ignition switch, and ridden a couple of hundred miles for pure fun.

To do by me:

clean brake pads and calipers,
buy and fit new handlebars,


To get a mechanic to do:

replace clutch
replace ignition,
replace air filter,
sort out leaking fork,
general checkover to advise on priorities to do next that I don't currently know about

I'm waiting for a darn mechanic in a town over to get his shop together so that I can get some things fixed on my bike... it's been a few weeks of waiting already :mad: ! He now charges $60/hr. (was $30/hr. before he opened his new shop... why I was originally going with him but he says he'll get it to close to where I want it ~_~ ) vs. $75/hr. - the cheapest in Lincoln. That's one more whole hour of repairs nearly :p !

Ah well, patience I keep telling myself, patience ~_~ .....

Speaking about what I've done to my bike today... did a new way of locking up the tarp over the bike because I found someone messing with the locks overnight the night before. Infuriating :mad: !!!
 
built the template for my garbage can front fairing. i saw everides video. with a few tweeks i should have a pretty sweet homemade fairing. im also waiting on a petcok to come in the mail and my road toggs my dad just bought me for my bday at the end of the month.

Then put my darling Termi (the bikes name) to bed for the night (she is like Harry Potter, sleeps in the Cupboard under the stairs)

My next day off she will get a good bath and a thorougher waxing (WHEEY) as she is a dirty girl and i cant have that!!

Well if she said no then I would say, tuff it's my place and my baby ain't getting cold for no woman! Haha
Every night she goes under the stairs rain or shine. Sometimes in the garage rarely though.

She hated shopping lmao had a ok dress sence and she loved bikes! Like my perfect girl! She moved back home though and didn't want a long distance relationship. Sucks real bad!
