...and I got my Diavel. She's a pretty little beast.

There's no known photos of my first bike (a Suzuki Savage LS650) so we start with the 2005 Suzuki M50. Fun bike, very easy to work on, horrid for traveling on.

At the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort:

I sold it and bought a 1998 VFR with only 8,000 miles on it (in 2008) and proceeded to put over 50,000 on it in the next 2-3 years. That damn mirror never would stay put.

Then a deer decided it didn't like me and rammed me. Insurance totaled it so I bought this:

It's an 03 VFR. I wasn't a huge fan of the color, but it was cheap as shit. I love it when stupid people sell their bike. Here's the two together, you can see some of the road rash:

A few months later some asshole pulled out infront of me and his drivers door did this:

There was a little rash on the side and the fender was cracked. Once again the insurance totaled it, but I kept that one and turned it into a 2003/2006/2008 combo VFR that looks like this:

The tail bag and tank bag both sucked, so I changed them:

I love that bike. It sounds positively beastly with the D&D mufflers, handles like a dream, floats like it's on a cloud, and has enough power to get me arrested. If only it had another foot of leg room, it'd be perfect.

My ride is a 2013 Yamaha R6. Absolutely love it. Kinda wish it had a different exhaust note, but that's nothing major (and nothing a full exhaust can't fix). Came bone stock from the dealer, so literally nothing done to it I don't want done. It has an integrated tail light and modified exhaust (stock exhaust hacked in half with a saw and put back together). As much as I love the dark gray color, I kinda wish I had gotten the Yamaha Blue. I've been on the lookout for OEM fairings on different forums for a while now. Just needs some new tires (that actually get sticky!) and we will be set.

Wasn't sure I wanted to make a new thread based on the one I posted the other week but here is my new motorcycle! 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6r 636! Totally love riding it!

That's kind of why I started this thread.

Most of us ride motorcycles of some kind and we're probably pretty fond of them since we ride around and record our adventures and journeys, sharing pictures and stories about the bikes themselves seemed obvious.

However just posting up a few pix often does not result in a conversation.
So instead of me doing the same, and starting a thread about my bike that would be another <10 posts dead-end, I decided to create a thread where we could all post pix of our bikes and have a quick, general conversations about them.

One thread for this means now we can all participate and get notified when new bikes show up rather than having a post about a new bike in it's own thread that no one knows about. We might be interested but simply never see it.

By the way, that's a beautiful shot.
The blue sky and white clouds goes great with the black & white of your bike.
Where was that taken?

You say you love riding it.
Why? What are the differences between this bike and what you had? What do you like about this bike?

Thanks! This is taken on the island of Oahu in a town called Makakilo. At the end of the main road is a spectacular view of Honolulu as you see in the picture.

After riding my first supersport which was my friend's 2014 Yamaha R6, I needed to get that feeling back again. The smoothness of the inline 4 was just sublime. I soon tried all my friend's supersports (2014 CBR600RR & another 2014 636) and even a FZ09 and I was soon addicted to the power. While my Ninja 650 was great and had more than enough power, the "umph" wasn't there anymore from getting back on after riding the other bikes. The 650 engine is very buzzy and just the fairing buzzing at 4k wasn't very smooth. It started to get to me even before I rode the R6. I mean after upgrading from a Ninja 250, I was impressed with the 650's torque. The 650 was fun but I am just blown away by the 636 now.

I have this all documented on my motovlogs. lol

I ride a 2009 Yamaha YZF R125 4t and i love it to bits
Couldn't ask for a better bike to learn road riding on,responds very well and even though she has been re-tuned to a WHOPPING 21hp she keeps on putting a smile on my face and wants to give more but sadly she can't as she is well a 125cc 4t, great on fuel £18 for full on premium Shell V-Power Nitro 99ron (i think) so about 30 US Cents for 14ltrs haha and she gets about 242 miles to a tank (Dread what i will get from the next bike i own after having this eco machine!), Her name is Termi and I WILL not ever part with her as she means so much to me and is my 2nd r125!
I have Modified it....Slightly!
Front and rear Ohlins Suspensions
Termignoni Carbon GP Can W/ MJS Decat link pipe and Headders

RATE OR HATE!?!?
Be as Honest as you want i wont be offended!!

Dig the bike. I have always liked the styling of the R125. I would love to see Yamaha come out with a YZF-R300 or something like that.

But... Not a fan of the MLP sticker. My opinion though, whatever suits you, stick with it.
