What Do You Do In The Winter?

I thought about this before winter hit so I made sure I had enough rough video to create some videos to cover my non riding season. I also plan on making videos of the tweaks, tune-ups and maintenance I will be doing on the bike, aswell. I think it's important to try and keep an active channel, the best you can. Cheers.
Agreed.I was getting a video a day out, and now i'm at 5 a week but I think I may slow it down quite a bit. But I had the "Jeep Discussions" series planned since I started (other then it wasn't supposed to be in a jeep lol) But I plan on doing bike videos throughout the winter

A video a day is crazy, I'm aiming for one a week.
It actually isn't that bad, and just nice to sorta vent. I have my own personal reasons just I want to make as many videos as possible. But very small part in that is my buddy who makes like really good money off youtube (I don't care about the money part) was saying the main thing is to have good content and that your viewers know you are going to stick around so at first you wanna get as much out as possible and then once you get the viewers then you can ease it back a bit. So it's more just that I have lots to say and I guess sorta a strategy to help the channel grow

Looking at the views on my vids, they take a few days to get there, so I personally wouldn't aim for a video more than every 4 days or so, purely based on my stats.

like i said I may slow down with it a bit, or at least try to give different types of videos to bring in a wide range of viewers. but i'm not to worried about it i just like making videos

I still manage to ride. Our australian winters don't mean snow, just bloody cold wind chill. So I layer up and hope for the best.

This is my first year riding and my first time experiencing the winter, due to only riding and not driving I haven't had much of a choice but to ride, and still loved every minute.

I just wrap up warm and take it easier on the roads as I'm sure we'll be getting black ice before we know it!

I tried to keep as worm as I could until it just got to cold to ride

When I took my old CG out in the snow, the thin tyres cut through it. Wasn't too bad, but compacted snow might be an issue

I don't think getting through snow would be the issue as much traction while turning because as soon as you lean it would come out from under you... I think

Hey there, from the other side of Canada! :-)
I watched some of your vids and figured you are in PEI?
Hate to say it, but I live in one of the very few places in Canada where you can ride 95% of the year...
So I basically ride year round, unless it snows.

Hang in there with your Jeep, spring will be here eventually.
Cheers (^_^)o

Oh how ya doin there EH! lol

Yeah I am still going to do the jeep videos, and video games and a bunch more... as much as I can. but I already wanna just skip Christmas and get right to more riding in the summer lol

The weather here is up and down all winter long, Sunday it was 78, Monday it was 29. So you may not ride for 2-3 weeks at a time at the very most.

During that time I catch up on my project, 79 Toyota pickup frame and axles with 88 body and drivetrain.

Do the mods to the bike that I can't get done in a evening during the summer, cam swap, ecu flash etc.

And save for big summer activites, like the trip to pikes peak in june, the fz8 forum meet-greet

Why I pick winter to freeze my butt off in the garage is beyond me
