What Bike do you ride?

2006 Suzuki GSXR600. I chose it because it was the most comfortable of all and I could't beat the price... $3,500 for around 17,000 miles. Sure, it still needs a little work but well worth it :D !

GSXR 600. Now that's a tool, brilliant machines... I remember the very 'slick' gearbox and that lovely top end rush, well chosen.

kawasaki z800, just because my dick was fallen in love.

I really love the Z800, light, flickable... If the new Z1 didn't exist, I would buy one instantly... the decision wouldn't even hit the brain cell. The moment you sit on one you feel instantly at home... perfect Zed, future classic, no doubt.

I kind of have a bike addiction, but let's just say I have a bike for pretty much every situation. The only kind I don't have is something in the super-moto style. What I ride the most miles wise is the Road King since I do quite a few long trips a year. For day to day commuting, I ride the '14 VRod or the 03 VRod.

I ran out of garage space once in my life too. V rod, that's some beast isn't it? :)

I bought my Fazer because I always wanted one, even from before I started riding. When it came to buying a bike there was nothing else I wanted, and my Fazer just happened to be available at a bike shop up the road! Since then, she's reached 40,000 miles (less than 10,000 when I bought her), so I decided to buy my VFR800 to even out the miles. Even so, she's been super reliable, and I've never had to pay anything out in repairs apart from wear and tear.

To be honest, apart from evening out the miles between my bikes, I didn't really need the VFR. I just kind of wanted one. It's great for hooning around the Yorkshire Dales and Peak District, and the extra torque over my Fazer is brilliant for overtakes. Costs me a fortune for fuel on my city commute though!

Next? Honda Crosstourer ;)

The Fazer is a classic do anything machine, and I'm not surprised you love it, I have a friend with a Blade in his garage and chooses to ride his Fazer most days... it's just one of those machines I guess, great engine, very comfortable :)

KTM Duke 200. I had no previous riding experience (just went straight through with my test without owning a 125 first) and so insurance was really expensive for me. This was cheap on insurance while still capable of doing the speeds I needed it to.

KTM you hooligan, brilliant. I lusted after the 1290... until I saw the price

i own an 1981 Kawasaki kz 550 ltd i got it because it was in my price range and it has a whole lot of old school style that i liked. i worked on it for about a year and a half before i got it on the road but im the one who did most of the work on her.

Awesome classic, well done. I owned a Z650 in '87, and I have wonderful memories of wild adventures with it. I rode one recently and it still had the ability to make me smile :)

This is a strange but not unlikable machine, we don't have that model over here, but I can see why you like it. Reminds me of a Victory, do you think that Victory owners where their target market?
Are you going to post up clips of your trip to Sturgis? I would very much like to experience some of that ride. How far is it, and what kind of roads are you riding on?View attachment 906

Yep, it is a strange, but not unlikable machine. Hmmmm, that is odd that they do not have it where you are at. They sell Kawasaki's and not a Honda? Must be the import laws probably that is the reason. If it is, I would definitely talk to your politician about it and see about getting that changed. If they are like the politicians here in the USA, you might have a little bit of tough go at it, if u can get past the special interests groups, and lobbyists who seem to take most of their time away from their constituents.

I plan on posting video of my trip to Sturgis. It is about 998 miles from my home, and will be going north thru Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and then up to Sturgis. I plan on meeting up with HuskersGBR, and RoninK6 in Lincoln on the 4th of August. I will probably be traveling on the interstate roads most of the trip. It will be my first time to Sturgis. I plan on seeing the Motley Crue Concert for their final tour in Sturgis. That is a great side view of the ride I have. :) It is that same color. I liked that color, because it is the same as my squadron color when I was in the Navy.
The Squadron's website is at: http://www.topedge.com/panels/aircraft/sites/vf24/index.html . Cool, huh???
The bike has ABS and Traction Control System, and has a bluetooth setup in the motorcycle.

Ohhh the '04 636, bloody lovely machine, I've owned three 6r's, all Green... great for 60,000 miles, I just loved them all... stirring the gearbox through the twisties, cant beat them.

I'll second that, it is a really nice bike to ride... even ten years old, it feels so sharp and handles like a dream. I'm sure in more skilled hands than mine it would give many a modern sports bike a run for its money.

Mine is a blue one and can be seen lurking in the background of this video...

You are correct - beast it is! I have two, the 03 and the 14. The 14 has a bit more power and is laid out more in a drag style - longer and lower than the 03. But man that engine - very un-Harley like. Gotta rev it to get into that sweet spot.

New (er, maybe preloved? Or rather not loved at all) O8ride has arrived. Not a sportsbike, no ABS, no chain. It's a 1998 cruiser shaft drive Yamaha XV535 Virago DX. Plenty of work to do on it but appears to run well, especially with new oil changes and filter. Nae bad for a grand.

Picked up my second bike this week.

It's a GSX-R 1000 (K7) with a few minor mods, mostly cosmetic. Loving it so far... VERY different to my Multistrada!! Taking it on a trackday in August :)

The Racefit exhaust is insane!

Very nice bike and almost the exact one I had before I went cruiser for a while. Had a blast on it. It is pretty much the best bang for the buck you can get.
