Hi @SueS,

Welcome to MotoVlog.com.
Where are you from? What do you ride? Say hello, what do you like? Why are you here?

Got a photo of your bike?

Hi there and thank you for the add!
I’m originally from the UK but have been in the Antipodes for the last 20 years, and the last 7 of those in Tasmania. I am a part time professional photographer, and I used to shoot for a motorcycle magazine for a couple of years before it folded under the digital age and COVID-19.

I ride a CBR650F, a great little sports tourer for navigating the t and mountains of Tasmania...
Well, I love watching other people’s motorcycle vlogs, from around the world. I got a GoPro for Christmas and so would love to engage here to build my own vlogging skills, so I can share the delights of travels around Tasmania!

That's some beautiful scenery! I hope to see it in video form soon!

Congrats on the GoPro - which one did you get? There are a ton of resources here and lots of friendly folks, so WELCOME!

I am pretty familiar with the Hero 8 and Hero 9 now, so if you have any questions, feel free to post them! Moto vlogging is a fun hobby for us here and we draw inspiration from the others in this community. Also, like I mentioned somewhere else, it's the most positive, welcoming, and motivating online community that I'm a part of!

Hi John
Thank you for your welcome!
I got the Hero 9 for Xmas :)
I had about an hour to get my head round how to turn on the record mode, and attach it safely to something before going out for a ride. I must say, even though the settings were all standard basic (and 24fps inexplicably) I actually got not unreasonable footage. I was so impressed with it! I already use Da Vinci for editing vids from my Sony camera, soo first attempt was ok, but soooo much to learn! I downloaded the manual and have been working through it...
I am looking forward to engaging with this community as this is a new dimension for me. I think Tasmania is an amazing place for motorcycle vlogs, would love to meet anyone else from here doing this. Also very much looking forward to seeing what others are doing too, for inspiration :)

Welcome!

I’m a pro photographer based in Amsterdam. I’m trying to figure how to incorporate photography into motovlogs. So I thought it was fun to see you being a photographer too.
Looking forward to seeing your first vids!

Epic scenery and with the GoPro 9 I really look forward to what you produce for our viewing pleasure

Welcome to the forum. I've been playing catch up of late on all the new members. Great looking bikes and photo.
