hey everyone, actually found this forum from watching a motovlog that mentioned it, and what a great site for new vloggers like myself to pick up tips and info.
my name is Phil and i live in Weston super Mare, somerset. i currently ride a Ducati Monster 821 which i love as i have always dreamed of owning a Ducati since my early days of following Mr Fogarty in WSBK.

Hi Phil, that is a gorgeous looking bike, I have a soft spot for Ducatis, have had 3 now: a 1997 M750 Monster, a 2008 Sport Classic Biposto and a 2010 (iirc) 1098 Streetfighter S.
I used to play around Devon, Cornwall and Sumerset on the bikes quite a lot in my Royal Navy days. Anyhows, welcome to the forum!

many thanks, a proper ducati history. weirdly i ended up in somerset after my RAF days. great forum, looking forward to learning from it.

I honestly hated my 1098 Streetfighter, the engine was insanely fast which I loved, the looks were proper badass too. The handling was terrible and the riding position incredibly uncomfortable.

Lovely bike, I've ridden the 1200s and it was really nice but heavier than the 821. I prefered the 821, but thats just me and I normally ride in a lot of traffic.

What great things they are.

There was one doing the rounds of the shows with the tank painted as a green reptile head.
