I usually record at 1080p 60fps ultra wide. On my.helmet or on the tank. After editing and syncing the audio, seems like the rendered video suffers a lot of degradation, then even more once uploaded to youtube. Also i want to know if recording in 24fps have any advantages.

Only a few months. Funny thing is i started on a yamaha mio 110cc scooter, bought an old zx7r but never got to ride it since it had a lot of repairs and got sold for a bit of profit while it was in the shop. So technically my 1st bike was a 2005 zx10r, then 2012 z1000, then 2012 zx10r, then this. The 2 zx10r bikes were crazy rockets but had very little power down low, z1000 was a crazy torque monster, the aprilia is somewhere in the middle, has power down low, and a bit up top, but the handling is very very very nice. It runs really hot though and is very thirsty compared to the jap bikes. For sound, my preference goes to the z1000, really deep and bassy and makes the ground and walls vibrate, the rsv4 is motogp like, and the zx10r sounds really fast(and it is, it gets to 180kph in 1st gear). Haha

I´m experimenting the same issue, previously i´d been using camtasia studio 8, and the render was quicker and better quality, but it is a very limited effect sw, i´m curently using Vegas Pro, is easy to use and has lots of effects which i like but it takes at least the doble of time to render than camtasia and the output video is poor, :(

I'm currently using vegas 16. The problem i have with this is it is always not responding. Even though i'm using my gf's laptop with
I7
Gtx1070 max q
16gb ram

My files are usually 60mbps from the cam at 1080p, what's a good size to render it? Also, is there a way i can render it to h265 to make files smaller or it doesn't work that way? I tried recording in 2.7k on our sunday ride and need to borrow the gf's laptop because it doesn't play well on my dad's laptop and my laptop(almost same as my dad's laptop and is alao 5yrs old's hard drive died.). Haha
