Hey guys My name is Eric I live in northern Cali for the next few months and I’ll be heading back to AZ. I ride a GSXR 1K! I just posted my first video! Was nervous as hell lol. Excited to go make another though. I’m going to be posting every Tuesday . Anyone currently living in NorCal that knows any good spots to ride?? I’ve been on Ortega Rd so far. Scary as hell but definitely had a crazy good time.

Which gen Gixer do you have? : used to have a k7 750 many moods back, that was pretty quick, but the 1000cc versions are rockets!
I ride a K2! She’s got a power commander, full SC system and a few other miscellaneous mods! I’ve always wanted to get a newer year but I take such good care of this one that I’m confident she will last me a VERY long time. She’s currently sitting on 25K miles and gets toothbrush scrubbed and polished weekly. Do I have a problem?

Yes they do! I ride all year around so I definitely get to see the worse of it but usually only lasts about a week in CA, and in AZ monsoon season will last about a month. This bike hasn’t had the chance to ride on AZ pavement just yet! Crazy excited to get back to my old city in AZ. Minus the heat, the good days are all worth it Where are you from?

Yes! Not exactly custom, was just having issues fitting it with the swing arm in the way. Ended up just flipping it around and now it fits without rubbing. I have a Yoshi system I still have yet to put on the bike that should fit it better but haven’t found time just yet. You’re the first to actually bring up the angle of that one though! Was starting to think I was the only one that noticed lol.

Not at ALL actually! I was thinking the same thing when I went to see it in person from the original owner. After finally finding a spot to test it though, I was worried that it would grind slightly depending on my angle. So far, I’ve completed a 38 degree angle with no issues! That’s a rough estimate from the Yamaha “MyRide” app after calibration. I really want to throw that Yoshi on but it’s going to cost quite a bit to go take the power com in afterwards. So it’s something I’ve been procrastinating on. I seriously love this bike and want it to last as long as I can possible.

(BTW! The previous owner had installed an SC slip-on (also angled sort of oddly) so when I went to buy the bike, I ended up buying the 2-1 system shortly after and keeping the slip on because the pipe that came with the system I ordered wasn’t a shorty SC. Still ended up angled a bit odd but looks way better then how it was the day I picked her up) loll definitely looking forward to installing that Yoshi sooner or later
