Hi @819s,

Welcome to MotoVlog.com.
Where are you from? What do you ride? Say hello, what do you like? Why are you here?

Got a photo of your bike?

Hey!
What's up everyone!

I'm Steve. I'm from the US. I was born and raised in Buffalo. I live in Japan and have been here for more than 16 years. I currently live in a city called Sagamioono. It's at the border of Tokyo.

I ride a 2013 CRF250L. I rode a ton of different bikes in the states when I was in my late teens, early twenties. When I moved, it was out of my budget to get a motorcycle and, honestly, in Japan you don't need one in cities because there is a lot of public transportation. I got my CRF a few years ago and it changed my relationship with Japan dramatically.

I love checking out new places, visiting temples and shrines, meeting people and just living life. I am always on the lookout for a new off-road trail. It seems like the ones near me keep getting shut down.

I go by "819S" or "Team 819S". If you are curious, it can be read as "bike" or "bikes" in Japanese.

I hope to make some friends, see other people experiences, and share motorcycle culture in Japan with people that are interested.

It's the only pic I have of my bike on me. I will probably talk about it more for people that are interested.

Thanks!

Hi Steve aka @819s welcome to the forum. You may know of another motovlogger in your neck of the woods @tarmacjapa aka "Tarmac Japan" or "Bike Hub" as he has recently rebranded. I don't think he has been on here for a month but he pops in occasionally and is a good bloke :-)
The Honda CRF250 L is a cracking bike, I do a bit of trail riding in the UK and a few of my mates have the CRF, awesome bike for exploring, travelling and getting mucky on! :-)

Hey HippoDrone! Thanks!
I have not met @tarmacjapan in real life yet but I watch his videos and we have texted. I am hoping that I can meet up with him sometime this year.
I love my CRF. I rode a few other 250s after buying it and felt a little jealous of the WR250 in the end it doesn't matter what bike you're on as long as you're having some adventures!
