I am a bit concerned now, the BBC were saying freakin Thunder Storms for Sunday..but that's changed to light rain in the a.m. to heavy rain by the afternoon.

Don't know what to call just yet so lets make a final decision Saturday morning eh, that may not give some guys enough notice but there isn't much else we can do.

The roads are the thing and it's a lot of country lanes and if they are wet they will not dry out simply because of the mud and tree cover.

I have hated almost every week of this so called Summer of ours, I think we truly have only had a week of good sunshine.

Weather is a changing for the better and things are looking much nicer for Sunday after all

If we get a few showers then so what. It's not like, in this damn country, we are not used to having some kind of rain on a regular basis during our rides.

I'll be setting off around 0700 so I can have a little stop on the way to rest my poor old body. I am looking forward to the Dartford Bridge but the preceding M25 doesn't have the same appeal.

Not going to make it guys, the sudden arrival of August has made me realize quite how close my departure to Uni is, and i'm afraid i'd rather be certain of having enough cash to survive rather than risking it, the appalling summer so far has meant my hours have been quite low so I just can't justify it

Nope, fully understand your position mate. No worries if you can't make it but I think we're OK this end.
In fact, I've called it and it's ON!!!
