To The Peaks! (UK Meet Up)

Updated the first post with the current confirmed and maybe list, as well as adding in the starting time and location information.

Here it is again, for those who don't feel like searching the first post for new information:

Meeting at CMC Clay Cross at 10:30.
Time enough for breakfast/lunch (Leedsrider will attest to the awesomeness of the Fazer cob*). We'll leave around half 11, so people have some time to show up.

*A cob is a Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire word for what you might call a butty, bread roll or bap.

You be on the Triumph or Honda :? ??

Depends on the weather. Hopefully the Triumph.

Meant to film something today. Didn't. Will get around to it at some point.
I'd like to break the engine in a bit more before I start filming. I've done just over 230 miles now and am feeling confident enough riding it. The tyres are looking much nicer too! A little less new - but it's still a pain having to watch my revs. Don't think I could do that and vlog.

Triumph's have really difficult break ins.

I should probably add that I'll be cancelling this meet if there's snow or ice, since most of the routes we'd be going on get closed off anyway and it would be dangerous enough!
For those booking hotels that plan to brave it, I'll sort out a separate route that doesn't take us to the Peaks.

Never discount snow! It's forecast to be as cold as 1 degrees here tomorrow night, and they're talking about snow in Scotland.
Who knows what might happen after another week?

But yeah, I agree. We could always find a pub and haul up in there if it starts raining

Awesome stuff, you won't be the only one. We're going out for dinner the night before, you're welcome to join.

I think most people are staying around Derby area. In fact, here's the hotel that everyone seems to be in.
