Hey guys.
I realised the other day that while I've lead a few of the Peak District meet ups before, I've never arranged one myself.
I'm thinking that we should have one last ride out before the weather gets really bad and a lot of you put your bikes away for winter.
So, I propose we spend a Saturday traversing some of the best biking roads in the country, finishing up in Matlock Bath for chips.
I say Saturday, November the 3rd.
It's about 3 weeks away. While I'd like to give you all a bit more notice, we really don't have that long before it gets too cold to enjoy yourself.
Drop some suggestions for a route and I'll come up with a map. If I don't get any suggestions, I know enough good places to go - I just want to see where you guys feel like seeing first!
Map:
Meeting at CMC Clay Cross at 10:30.
Time enough for breakfast/lunch (Leedsrider will attest to the awesomeness of the Fazer cob*). We'll leave around half 11, so people have some time to show up.
*A cob is a Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire word for what you might call a butty, bread roll or bap.

And just to add: if anyone is getting a hotel on Friday night, I'll be up for going out for dinner. We did it on the Peaks meet about 2 weeks ago or whenever it was, and it was fantastic. Just get a hotel around Derby and it'll be awesome
