Southern and Central Winter Meet.

Elkfazrr1 and me thought it would be a good idea to arrange a meet in the winter for the southern British vloggers.

We are thinking that it would be before Christmas and maybe we could all meet up for a pub lunch or something like that to help take the chill off of the occasion.

We've not discussed a location as yet , but i should imagine somewhere central to the majority of us would be best?
I think that the location should be to the north or northwest of London perhaps so as we're not riding into the sun too much, which is one of the most uncomfortable aspects of winter rides?

Any suggestions or comments, ideas would be most welcome.

I'm a maybe. With it being winter, the weather will play a big factor in most people's decisions. I'll follow the thread, and make a last minute decision.

lol, i forgot to mention that about the weather. if the weather is good then I'm up for it! I'm in the same boat as Bikermole.. it will be a last minute decision from me depending on weather.

How about a The Roundabouts of Milton Keynes meet. TFB could lead us all on a merry journey around MK to see all the sights including the world famous concrete cows

I could pop and see my old house on Two Mile Ash.

I went on a meet, my first meet, earlier this year with a group of bikers who are not vloggers and the day was great and sitting in the pub at the end having a chat was almost the best part.

I remember the first time I ended up in MK. Was a long time ago (before GPS!) and (to misquote Douglas Adams) I found that the only way to get out was to go round and round until I reached some kind of escape velocity, then try to work out where I was and get home from there. Crazy place!

hahaha! Even i get lost around here with all the roundabouts and i bloody live here! There are some good places to eat here tho but anywhere with food and some good roads, with not so many roundabouts tho would be nice

My first ever meet, with curly and the rest, was a trip to a Costa, followed by a trip to a riverside pub for a meal. It was really nice.

The meal aspect sounds like a safe bet then? We'll need something hot I side us after a cold , long ride (matron!).
MK isn't too far for most to get to I should imagine? I'm down with that ;-)

Just putting it out there that if its either this month or next month, I'm gonna have to drop out as I won't have my new bike until at least end of october/start november! So I'll just be monitoring this thread and see how it goes

I suppose november would be good? Or mid december to get us in the festive mood? We could decorate our bikes to look like reindeer ;-D
