not sure on the pubs aspect, but I'm sure we can find one. for the ride we could do a round trip? Milton Keynes - Aylesbury - Thame - Bicester - Banbury - Towcester - Milton Keynes. i know most of them roads and they are quite nice to ride on.

I would prefer before Novemeber as after that I might not come due to it just being cold and me being so far away.

I'm up for this once it's all sorted for dates.
There's some nice roads around Bucks, MK - Stoke Hammond - Three Locks - Soulbury - Wing - Aylesbury - Bicester (stopping off at OnYerBike) - Finmere - Brackley - Buckingham - MK is a nice route I've done quite a few times. And there's some nice food places in MK.
