Any chance of a dedicated solar bear area.

That way we can each make a thread and keep all our vids together.

I say put it right at the top so it's the first thing visitors see.

I'm just thinking with 9 vids each that original thread is going to be difficult to navigate.

Or maybe there is a link to each vid in the op.

We may keep this one the same but defo worth looking at for others maybe.

The one thing I'd say is, it's sometimes a nightmare with one thread so having 9 threads from God knows how many people could take ages to sort BUT that is not a No by far

I think, as food for thought, that having a thread per competitor would detract from the comp. you'd decentralise it, and I think cut down on banter. Should the banter be biased on one given direction, say a video where a very out of the ordinary idea is used, it'll see that thread getting the traffic, and risks off topic chatter that's not about that users' vids.

A couple of people made up links to vids for Sunny Bear where there was the users' name followed by letter links to each vid, no reason that couldn't be done as a separate scores on the doors/progress thread.

I would go for that one as well.

How about making the main post contain links (not embeds) to playlists or channels of every participant?

All collected and organized without individual threads.

Naturally this calls for frequent editing of the first post. So mods will have to do the work. Maybe a temporary role could enable the one responsible to make the edits.

What I'm going to do is leave this one running, because its started.

However, before we do the Summer Bear one (I wont crash a bike and die this year) I'll open a thread of how people would run etc etc.

I have asked another member if he would be chief judge on the Summer one as he's a funny guy so it will shake things up.

I didn't do the Solar bear deal but I will be doing the Sunny Bear as that will have paid prizes etc - I'll be honest, it helps bring people into the site & helps members get more exposure so its in my interest to get it running smooth!

The main thing about Sunny Bear was that I got wiped out after my crash so it put me weeks behind

However I do agree that it could be run better with counting points etc so I will be using Google Docs/Sheets and allowing entries the ability to adit the same sheet etc as everyone who uses Youtube WILL have a google account etc

I just need to test how it will be but I haven't forgotten. I just didn't want to take over the Solar bear Deal
